ââ$10,000+ in Add-Ons, Promises Made but Ignored â GM Cases Openedâ
Buyer beware when purchasing a vehicle from Carson Chevrolet. My experience after purchasing a 2026 Chevrolet Suburban LT has been extremely frustrating and disappointing.
After reviewing my purchase contract at home, I noticed several optional add-on products that significantly increased the price of the vehicle. When reviewing the numbers carefully, the final price appeared to be nearly $13,000 higher than what I originally expected.
Despite multiple emails and phone calls to the finance department, I have not received any written confirmation or assistance. Even after speaking with them by phone, my follow-up emails have gone unanswered.
To try to resolve this in good faith, I personally visited the dealership again on Monday and spoke directly with my salesperson, Shawn. During that visit, Shawn acknowledged the issue and promised that the optional items would be cancelled and that I would receive an email confirming the cancellations.
Unfortunately, I never received that email, and my follow-up messages asking for confirmation have once again been ignored.
Because of the lack of response from the dealership, I have now opened cases with General Motors Customer Assistance. All I am requesting is simple and reasonable: written confirmation that the optional products have been cancelled, the refund amount for each item, and confirmation that the refund will be sent to the lienholder.
It is extremely disappointing to make such a major purchase and then be ignored when trying to resolve a straightforward request. Transparency and customer support should not end once the paperwork is signed.
If someone from Carson Chevrolet management is reading this review, I would appreciate immediate assistance in resolving this matter.â

âI normally do not write reviews online. However, I just had to acknowledge my experience working with Andrew at Carson Chevrolet. From start to finish, his communication was excellent. Andrew was quick to respond via telephone and text messaging. He kept me in the loop the whole time and made sure all my questions were answered. Things were explained clearly and I never felt rushed or pressured, which was very much appreciated.
I also want to acknowledge the rest of the staff at Carson Chevroletâeveryone I interacted with was friendly, professional, and helped make the overall experience a positive one.
What really stood out was when I finally got to the dealership. Before the test drive (â26 Colorado), Andrew took the time to walk me through all the features of the truck, especially the infotainment system, and explained it in a way that was easy to understand. He made sure I felt comfortable and confident before we drove off.
Andrew is professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely focused on providing great customer service. I highly recommend asking for Andrew Trupsin if youâre looking for a smooth and positive car-buying experience.â
