“I took my Kia Sportage in for a regular oil change/maintenance appointment. I decided to wait while my car was being serviced and was told that it would take approximately 1 and 1/2 hours to 2 hours. To my pleasant surprise it barely took 45 minutes!! I want to give a shout-out to Johnny!! He greeted me and was so helpful, kind, and friendly. Overall it was an easy, stress-free experience and this fact was not lost on me. If only everything could be this easy!! Thank you, Johnny and Premier Kia of Carlsbad!”

“I came in today to service my 2023 Forte. I took the $200 15k service package.
They completely overfilled the engine with oil. I ended up having to siphon out about a quart to get under the high mark on the dip stick. I don't know what it is with these Kia Dealerships but seem they seem incapable of putting the correct amount of oil into an engine during an oil change. You service Kias. You should know how much oil to put in. You should know that overfilling an engine with oil will damage the engine with time.
From Google Gemini:
"Overfilling a car engine with oil creates foamy, ineffective lubricant due to crankshaft aeration, leading to poor lubrication, increased pressure that blows seals/gaskets causing leaks, potential catalytic converter damage, blue/white exhaust smoke (burning oil), and ultimately severe engine wear or failure, so always stick to the dipstick's recommended level"
I had the exact same experience with North County Kia as well. I don't think these "mechanics" are capable of correctly measuring the right amount of oil. They probably just dump the full 5 quarts into the car and call it a day.
They also overfilled the tires. I was reading 38 PSI on the front tires driving home. The stock tires are rated max 33 PSI. So I also had to bleed out the tired after siphoning out the excess oil.
Sometimes I wonder if its stupidity or part of their business strategy that causes these dealerships to service the cars in this way. I'm regretting not spending that $200 on ramps and doing the oil change myself.
I'm two stars instead of one because the service lady behind the desk was pleasant.”

“We had a great experience with this dealership! We have a newborn and Ryan was very understanding and helpful in working around our schedule and making the process as efficient as possible so we didn’t have to spend too much time at the dealership. We love our new Telluride!”

“Terrible experience since I bought my car. First when I bought they forgot a signature on paperwork, made me come back to sign (mind you I live 45 minutes away) then they call two days later and forgot another signature!!! Had to mail it to me to sign… terrible experience there and then the car… had problems after 4 months, they fixed it. Then had more problems- they keep my car for 16 days!! No loaner and all they did was put in a battery….. they damaged the interior and manager said it wasn’t his guys!!! Crazy because it definitely was there fault”

“I came in yesterday and bought a new 2026 Kia Sportage Hybrid X-Line. Premier Kia had all the color options I was looking at and Alex helped walk me through all the features and make a decision on the best one for my needs. Everyone in the dealership was very kind and helpful, and they were willing to work with me to get a package and deal that made sense. I’m very happy with my purchase and experience!”
