“Absolutely do not shop here. We bought 3 different vehicles before we found one that wasn’t junk. Or so we thought. Took back 2 jeeps within 2 weeks and ended up having to settle on a VW Tiguan because we were so tired of the process. Now the VW has transmission issues, AC issues, and something is wrong in the front end. Only had it about half a year……Every vehicle from this place is junk. The customer service was very subpar. We also bought a warranty and after the sale they made sure to let us know they only have 1 mechanic. So what’s the point of the warranty if you don’t have the man power to fix the vehicle. Also got absolutely ripped on the price. They were supposed to do something for us for all of the inconvenience and they never did. Made sure to make us feel like we were the problem for returning 2 vehicles. When I test drove a Mazda there it had a knocking noise coming from the motor. I mentioned it to them and the older woman behind the counter said “that’s why you turn up the radio” like seriously why are you even in this field of work. Most ignorant remark I have ever heard. I am absolutely outraged at this place.”

“I was pleased with the buying process at Carmax. Lawrence was professional & helpful plus very personable. He made the sale easy of my 2020 mini Clubman. He also handled the sale of my 2013 mini Clubman. I was disappointed in what Carmax offered me, but i didn’t want to bother selling my car myself. So i accepted the $3000 offer. I have only one suggestion bc i found your 125 checkpoint list to go wrong. 4 days after the purchase, my car went dead twice within a few hours. It had to be towed back to Bradentin Carmax fir servicing. I was without a car for 3 days & had to return to Bradenton to pick it up - very inconvenient & disappointing. It needed a new battery. It seems to be running well now. Let’s hope that’s all it was. Staff was very friendly & efficient when i picked it up. I guess some bumps in the road occur. All’s well hat ends well!”
