“We did the research online and Carmax was the best offer to sell our vehicle. We have purchased vehicles from them in the past, but never sold to them. We got a formal Bid online and showed up and met with DW. He was very friendly and professional. He understood our concerns for efficiency and honored them. Our situation had a unique Title issue that we had to work through, but he showed patience. Working with DW and Carmax turned out to be a pleasant experience. I would not hesitate to sell a vehicle to Carmax.”

“I had a wonderful experience from start to finish. Starting off strong with customer service on the phone giving me precise directions to follow and answered any questions I had.
I was selling my older car because I had just purchased a new one and the quote they gave me online matched with the quote they gave me in person. The process was simple quick, easy and painless. This means alot since there are so many incompetent companies & employees this day in age. It was a breath of fresh air that things went smoothly & people knew how to do their jobs.
They cut me a check for my car and they also supplied me with an Uber home that they paid for. I had a wonderful experience & they maintained excellent customer service the entire time. I would definitely send all my friends and family to do business with CarMax. Thank You.”

“The process was simple and efficient. The staff was very professional and communicated well. It was a very positive experience. We left with a bank draft from Carmax for them to purchase my vehicle for their resale as a previously-owned vehicle. There were no catches. The offer I had received electronically is the amount Carmax paid when I dropped off the car.”

“Absolutely do not shop here. We bought 3 different vehicles before we found one that wasn’t junk. Or so we thought. Took back 2 jeeps within 2 weeks and ended up having to settle on a VW Tiguan because we were so tired of the process. Now the VW has transmission issues, AC issues, and something is wrong in the front end. Only had it about half a year……Every vehicle from this place is junk. The customer service was very subpar. We also bought a warranty and after the sale they made sure to let us know they only have 1 mechanic. So what’s the point of the warranty if you don’t have the man power to fix the vehicle. Also got absolutely ripped on the price. They were supposed to do something for us for all of the inconvenience and they never did. Made sure to make us feel like we were the problem for returning 2 vehicles. When I test drove a Mazda there it had a knocking noise coming from the motor. I mentioned it to them and the older woman behind the counter said “that’s why you turn up the radio” like seriously why are you even in this field of work. Most ignorant remark I have ever heard. I am absolutely outraged at this place.”

“My family has purchased 3 cars from this particular CarMax and each time the process has been nearly flawless. Purchased a 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe SEL with 52k miles for a great price yesterday. Thanks to Dave, I was in and out in under 90 minutes(times may vary depending upon your credit). They topped off all fluids and gave me a full tank of gas. The entire staff there was friendly and found time to offer bottled water and snacks as we waited for the our vehicle. Excellent service time and time again.”
