โLong winded but important when shopping around.
Originally I bought my Hyundai Kona second hand from a dealer in Cranberry.
Currently, it has 48,000 miles on it, a 21 Kona awd.
I had wanted to get remote start added to my car these last few weeks (September 25) so I outsourced for that, only for the technician to discover that the actuator, or the electrical locking mechanism in the drivers side has gone bad.
He spent two and a half hours diagnosing this issue, and told me that since Hyundai has 100000 mile bumper to bumper warranties I should call and find out if Hyundai would cover this repair.
Additionally, thereโs are THOUSANDS of videos of people getting locked out/ locked IN their Konaโs and not only is Hyundai aware of the issue, but they still donโt recognize it as a recall or safety issue!!!!!!
I called bowser who told me before even fixing the issue, they would need to run a $180 diagnostic test- that I already explained was done and diagnosed lmao
Then the part then the labor- $400 plus later for a $30 part:
Bullshit.
Hyundai knows in manufacturing that these parts go bad and refuse to make it right and put these in their cars so they willllll go bad and you willlll have to pay their prices.
Luckily, Iโm not an idiot and can figure this out (remove three bolts from the panel and unplug the old one from the electrical panel and unhook the hooking mechanism and rehook the new one and plug it in) simple. ๐ฎ
Stop trying to make money, and listen to what your customers are saying. We have YouTube, youโre not slick.โ

โI recently bought a 2024 Hyundai Sonata here and Jason and Dylan were wonderful to work with. They were pleasant, well organized, explained information clearly and communicated well as my process of buying the car took a few days given my personal situation. I would recommend any family member or friend to them. I have been to mainly dealerships and beginning to end my experience with them was quick when I was in their office and they were thorough. I am please with the car I purchased and have not had any problems since purchasing. Thanks for the help guys!โ

โWent in and met sales agent, Ashley. She has the PERFECT strategy to sell cars and it's called "listening". I was up front and honest with her on my finances, expectations and goals. She picked out a car for me and it was exactly what I asked for! No "Fluff" no sales "pitch" ....She spoke candidly with me about the industry, economy and very REAL impacts Terrifs are causing not only their clients but the automotive industry as a WHOLE. And what that means for FUTURE repairs and costs to come with normal maintenance. Buying NEW was the best option right now. 3 yrs FREE service on oil changes and tire rotations, 100k power train warranty, free state inspections, including vehicle perks like remote start and blue link app control. Now all that said, normally WORST part is waiting on financing and negotiation with bank. I spent no more than 3 hours there from start to finish and drove home with my BRAND NEW 2025 Elantra! I thank you God for your hand on this deal and for aligning me with the Right staff to make this deal happen. Please bless Ashley, finance Manager, General Manager and svc Manager Alex in their future dealings and help them to make the difference in the lives who need it most in the coming years.
