Last year I traded in my inherited 2016 CR-V for a 2026 CR-V hybrid and could not be happier with the vehicle and the dealership experience. My sales rep Richard Barksdale was fantastic all throughout the process, being honest and direct about all my options and what did and did not make sense for me in terms of models, features and add-ons and making sure to check in and confirm I was happy with everything afterwards. Highly recommend Richard and First Texas Honda for car purchases and service, and will be sending my parents his way when they decide to upgrade :)

I purchased a blue 2022 Honda HR-V EX. This is my first SUV. I went to this dealership after working the overnight shift. A friend brought me from Dallas, TX (3 hours way). I initially set up as much as I could prior to coming with Mr. Deng and while he was on vacation, I was appointed to Mr. Lien to finish my paperwork for purchase. Everything went smoothly and quickly as possible. Everyone is professional and nice. I love the refreshments and table tennis game to pass the time.

I am quite amazed how easy and quickly I was able to walk in to look at a Honda and leave within an short amount of time in a brand new car! I wanted a used and a great young man Jacob just made everything so seem less, stress free, met me halfway and fit my budget to get a new car, not used! Oh and he drove to another city to get the last one in the state that was the color I wanted! I am pretty amazed! Thanks

I had an outstanding experience at First Honda in Austin thanks to Matthew and the entire team. I was initially just browsing cars online when Matthew reached out and gave me a call. I missed it at first, but when I called him back, he was incredibly responsive and we set up an appointment for the very next hour. From the moment I arrived, Matthew was polite, professionally dressed, and greeted us with a warm, genuine smile that immediately made us feel comfortable. We went on a test drive and honestly knew almost instantly that the vehicle was the right one. After that, we headed upstairs to crunch numbers and worked with Chris, who was super kind, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly. Overall, the entire staff was outstanding, welcoming, and easy to work with. I couldn’t have asked for a better car-buying experience and highly recommend First Honda in Austin!

My experience with First Texas Honda was, without question, the worst I’ve ever had at any dealership.Havent happened in the past, but this time would rather give a 0 star . I dropped off my car for a simple software updateand stayed at the dealership the entire time. The moment I got home, I noticed a fresh dent near the hood/fender—something that was absolutely NOT there before. I immediately contacted my service advisor, sent photos, and drove right back to the dealership. At first, they said they would launch an investigation and even issued me a loaner. But within 10 minutes, they called demanding I return the loaner immediately because they suddenly decided the damage wasn’t their fault. No reasoning. No transparency. No accountability. The next day, I met with the service manager, who was rude, dismissive, unprofessional, and completely uninterested** in resolving the situation. Instead of investigating, he compared my car to another random car in a photo (which makes absolutely no sense), refused to check CCTV footage, and kept mentioning things like rust instead of addressing the obvious dent that appeared right after their service. They relied on two low-quality intake photos and refused to provide any additional exterior footage. The dent was not there before service, and instead of helping, they argued, deflected, and acted like I was the inconvenience. I’ve attached photos so others can see exactly what I’m referring to. This dealership lacks honesty, transparency, and basic respect for customers. I will never return, and I strongly urge anyone who cares about their vehicle to think twice before trusting them with yours without proper pictures or proofs. Better take pictures of your car before leaving your car.
