“On 1/27/2026, I had a maintenance appointment scheduled for 8:30am for my 2021 Hyundai Palisade. I was met with a very sweet Jackson F. upon my arrival. This young man was extremely professional, respectful, and made sure my vehicle would be taken care of and that I receive updates on it.
Jackson did just that! Unfortunately, when I realized that it was taking much longer than 1 1/2 hrs, I had a feeling in my gut that something was wrong. Jackson came out to me and informed me after we got the battery replaced (that thing was shot!) that there was other issues going on with it, mainly my transmission.
That news took my breath away because I've heard about transmissions going out in certain years of the Hyundai Palisades, but I didn't think it would happen to mine. He informed me that it would be over $6K to get it fixed and I just couldn't pay that on a vehicle that was a basic model, already hitting that 80K mile mark, and was almost paid off. I was devastated.
Taking a step back for a second - I met Brandon F. when I gave Jackson my keys and waited in the lobby for my vehicle to be done. I eyed the new 2026 Hyundai Palisade and decided to just look at it. Brandon comes up to me and off the bat, this man exuded confidence, a relatable aura, and was very welcoming.
Brandon allowed me to get in and told me all the features with the new Palisade because I was already interested in a new one, but I was definitely not looking to buy a new vehicle until I paid my 2021 off. Plus, my husband wasn't going to allow that because he told me that I would not be buying another car by myself (he thinks I make bad decisions lol!).
Brandon was so good at explaining and answering questions about the vehicle. My husband comes in and he meets him and tells my husband to sit in the vehicle. I informed Brandon that my husband is a very tough cookie to crack and really can't be persuaded, especially when it comes to money, etc.
So hours go past and I receive the bad news regarding my vehicle. Brandon gets word as I'm talking with Jackson and he tells me to come see him after I'm done with Jackson. To be completely honest, I knew he was going to try and sell me a vehicle and I didn't want to bother with him because I knew my husband wouldn't allow me to do such a thing, but I heard him out since my husband left an hour before...
Brandon knew what happened to my vehicle and basically my car was done. At this moment, my emotions were at an all time high along with my stress levels because my baby (Palisade) was technically done. Brandon and I get to talking about how I would need another vehicle after this one and I agreed, but I kept telling him that my husband most likely wouldn't want me getting a new one.
When I tell you this man looked me in my eyes and said, "I need you to trust me."... now, I don't trust many people including a freaking stranger, but I did trust him. He said he would talk to my husband after he got numbers for a 2021 Hyundai Palisade Limited and a 2026 Hyundai Palisade. I told him my limits as far as payments each month and then he mentioned the 2026 Hyundai Santa Fe Calligraphy.
I was honestly against the Santa Fe because I HATED how they looked! But he told me to at least look at one. I told him I wanted a white on white one, but he pulled one out of the inventory that was 30x better. I was still against it, but I gave in and said I'll check it out. This is when I met Manuel A.!
Manuel was incredibly sweet!!!! This sweet man was the one to take me on a test drive in this Santa Fe. So, Manuel, Brandon, and I walk outside when they pull the Santa Fe and not going to lie, the thing was nice looking from the outside. Then he opens it and I fall in love ❤️
9 hours later, Schomp paid my Palisade completely off, got me into a Santa Fe, and gave me the best experience despite my situation! I met Jazz G. at the end and she went over all the features and she was very knowledgeable and sweet!
Thank you to everyone at Schomp! We'll see you this year for my husband's new Sonata! We want Brandon and Manuel again!!!”

“I had such a great experience!! I have to say, i went to 3 other dealerships and one of them was such an awful experience that even if i liked the car, i would not have purchased. How people treat you matters! Daveen and Dustin helped us with our new 2025 Ioniq 6 and they were WONDERFUL! Both of them were incredibly helpful, kind, and knowledgable! They provided us with a smooth experience from start to finish! Thank you again! We’re so excited”

“Attila Szabo made all the difference in the world! It is challenging going to a car dealership as a woman and fearing you will be taken advantage of. Not the case with Attila! He made my sister and I feel like family with his ability to connect and to truly listen to our needs, along with his fun and outgoing personality. Atilla’s warm and kind disposition, in addition to his exceptional expertise and knowledge of Hyundai vehicles, made our experience meaningful and successful. Also worth mentioning is that Attila made sure we had not spoken to anyone else beforehand because he didn’t want to steal someone else’s business. He gained my respect for that and it happened within the first 30 seconds of meeting him. Good for you, Schomp Aurora, for hiring and keeping people like Attila who have a genuine interest and care for their customers! I will be referring Schomp and more specifically, Attila, to my family, friends, and colleagues! I absolutely love my 2026 Hyundai Tucson, Hybrid! Thank you, Atilla!!!”

“My husband and I came into Schomp Hyundai shortly after Labor Day to test drive a few cars, and a week later we ended up leasing a Hyundai Ioniq. We worked with Brian Navas, who was absolutely amazing throughout the whole process. He was knowledgeable, patient, and made sure we felt confident in our decision.
While the experience took a little longer than the guaranteed timeframe, I actually appreciated that we were able to complete everything in one day — paperwork, insurance, and even a full walk-through of the car. Nick Becker took the time to explain all the features, bells, and whistles so I left feeling fully prepared to drive my new Ioniq. They even put a bow on so I could take photos with my new car, despite the rain! :)
I’ve already needed to schedule a service appointment, and again Brian was incredibly helpful by providing me with the direct link. At the service center, Richard assisted me quickly and helped set up a follow-up appointment. Joey, the technician, provided superb service — he clearly explained what to expect regarding my concerns and even created a game plan for me to check in at a specific mileage interval.
Overall, I would absolutely recommend this dealership. Not only because of the great people I worked with, but also because Schomp’s no dealer fees policy sets them apart. This was a smooth and supportive experience from start to finish!”
