“This process would have been funny if it wasn't such a colossal frustration and waste of time. This is EXACTLY why people dread dealing with car sales people. Our lease is ending next month and we need a new car. I inquired about a car lease online via their website, then received a text from Eddy. I explained I was doing legwork and research via email or text, shared our budget and asked for some solid numbers. For 24 hours and multiple texts, Eddy promised forthcoming prices and details. Finally, he explained that this process was too complicated to quote any other way than an in-person explanation. (I have other quotes from other dealers, by the way). When I said that wasn't possible, he repeated that the dealership wasn't too far from my location. Their insistence on my coming in person to discuss initial numbers REEKED of the impending bait and switch and highlighted their lack of transparency. I guess business is very good for these folks, I was a pretty easy sale! Luckily Toyota was very understanding about my preferred method of communication! I highly recommend Toyota of Seattle!”
