“Everyone I worked with at this location was kind, professional, and genuinely helpful. Maritza, who sold me the car, was extremely pleasant to work with. I also spoke with a manager of some sort whose name was Brandon, I believe, and he was also very pleasant, professional and informative. I ended up returning the car (just not a used car person, want something new), and was shocked at how smooth the process was. I didn't have to argue or justify why I was returning it, the only question asked was whether there was something actually wrong with the car that they'd need to address. Josh helped me with my return, and he was kind and helpful. They ended up not being able to properly process the return of my down payment to my debit card, but it seemed like it had gone through and I left the store. Josh actually called me to inform me that the transaction hadn't worked, which isn't something I wouldn't have expected. Ordinarily you have to chase these things down yourself. I then had to deal with the corporate office to make sure my bank was repaid for my loan. They were extremely helpful about that and followed up with me unprompted, staying on top of it from beginning to end. It was a completely smooth return process, which I genuinely wasn't expecting. Overall I'm really impressed by the people who work for CarMax and how much they seem to genuinely care.”
