âI had the pleasure of working with Elijah and Shawn when purchasing my 2020 Volvo S60 on Friday the 13th. From our very first interaction, I felt genuinely welcomed and heard. Both Elijah and Shawn went above and beyond to ensure I was completely comfortable and satisfied with my decision. They addressed every question and concern thoroughly, and when needed, arranged for the mechanic to spend additional time reviewing the vehicle so I could feel fully confident in my purchase. I was even provided with a loaner vehicle while they completed an extra inspection and detailing, which truly demonstrated their commitment to customer care. I highly recommend Elijah as a knowledgeable and attentive sales representative, and Shawn for his professionalism and expertise in handling the financial process. Overall, it was an outstanding experienceâand I absolutely love my new car!â

âPurchased a 2025 Santa Fe from them.
Really great sales and finance team. Did have to play a bit of the back and forth on price. But wasnât a horrible experience.
Very professional and would do business with them again.
Iâve also had 1st service done with them and was also very pleased with the level of professionalism and communication.â

âI used to love Hyundai. My next vehicle will be anything but this. Hereâs whyâŠ
A little over a year, at 60,047 miles, my check engine light came on. I was in Arlington, so I pulled into the dealership and left my car there overnight. The next day, I got a call from the advisor saying it was related to an engine recall and that my car was good to go. They gave it back to meâbut the very next day, the light came back on.
I took it back again, and they kept my car for an entire month just to diagnose it. A month later, they told me I needed a new engine, but that it was not covered under warrantyâeven though those specific models and years are known for faulty engines. The replacement cost? $10,000.
I called Hyundai Corporate, and they were awful. They truly did not care. After arguing for a couple of days with my advisor, they were finally able to get Hyundai to âgoodwillâ 90% of the cost. I was still responsible for the remaining balance, plus the diagnostic fee and an oil change.
During that entire month and one extra week, they claimed they had no loaner vehicles availableâso I had NO VEHICLE to get around or even go to work. It was a complete nightmare.
The day I went to pick up my car, my advisor was off, and someone else handed me the keys. My husband and I did a walk-around and opened the hood, only to discover that during the engine replacement they had removed the hood and let it fall, causing a huge dent on the inside, damage to the inner cover, and cracked paint on the outside. Not only did the mechanic know about this, but he never told the advisorâand they clearly were not planning to fix it. They thought I wouldnât notice.
After I confronted the person who gave me my car, they said they would take photos and compare them to the ones from when I checked in. They told me to take the car and that they would call me the next day. Once I got home, I also found grease marks everywhere inside the carâon the steering wheel, door panels, center console, radio, and even the rear camera.
The next day, they called me back and asked me to drop the car off so they could fix it. The damage was too severe to repair, so it needed a brand-new hood and a full interior detail. Funny enough, they suddenly âfoundâ a loaner vehicle for meâanother full week without my car.
When I finally went to pick up my repaired vehicle and return the loaner, the woman at the counter did a walk-through of the loaner and pointed out normal road debris marks on the hoodâcompletely typical from drivingâand tried to charge me for it. Absolutely ridiculous.
I finally got my car back and left that horrendous dealership for good. Please avoid this place like the plague.
They will treat your car like trash, lie to push unnecessary repairs because they canât properly conduct a diagnostic, and they donât care about youâonly your money. Avoid the headache and not only avoid Hyundai, but specifically avoid VANDERGRIFF at all costs. Save yourself the stress, wasted time, and thousands of dollars they will gladly take while taking zero accountability. This was by far the worst dealership experience Iâve ever had, and I would never recommend them to anyone.â

âWell I just want to say that going to Vandergriff Hyundai was the best decision Iâve made in a long time. The experience was wonderful. Preston Leeds (Salesman) and Shawn Hussein (Finance Manager) made purchasing my car a seamless journey. If you are looking to purchase your next vehicle please stop by and ask for them. I promise you theyâll make you feel soooo special. Thank you both. I appreciate you more than youâll ever know! đđđâ

âWe had a great experience at the Vandergriff Hyundai Arlington. Torry did an amazing job from start to finish assisting my husband and I throughout the process along with the finance team as well. They were prepared to answer any questions that we had which honestly gave us peace of mind. We got the 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe and as a family of 5 we are super excited with this new buy! If youâre ever needing to buy a new car, Torry is definitely your guy! He will make sure he helps you with everything that you need with the process. Thank you so much Torry for your patience, your honesty and integrity. God bless you. My family and I are so grateful you were our sales person. We definitely see why you were a good referral.â
