The sales and service team are excellent. Recently purchased a car for my daughter, our salesman TJ Hurt was so helpful, got her rolling without being pushy. I had 2 cars in mind, test drove them both and he suggested a 3rd option. Turns out the 3rd option was by far the better of what i had initially found online. It really does pay off to work with the right sales person to guide you through the process to find the right car! We appreciate you TJ.

I had a great experience purchasing my 2021 Toyota RAV4 from Mungenast Toyota in Alton. TJ was knowledgeable, patient, and easy to communicate with throughout the process. Highly recommend!

Called an ask if I could get information about a 1987 Toyota Land Cruiser today, I was looking for new but thought maybe trade on an buy 2 I liked it so much. The guy answers I say I’d like to know more about the 1987 there he immediatly said it’s on the website , I said what’s the mileage again he said 188,000 or 200,000 I said ok I thought that , so what are you trying to get out of it ? He said 50,000 ! lol I said Oh really ? What am i missing here? ( he point blank flat serious said) what your missing is it obviously isn’t for you !!! Wow I said oh my have a good day sir .. He didn’t say hey it’s a classic , it has no rust , it’s a one owner , we put new tires on it , nothing like that he said nothing like that ! See I sound southern as a Dixie bell on the phone , an even if he seen me today shopping ( mind you nobody asked me of if I needed help) in my nurse uniform .i hope they realize even though I was in my scrubs I was there for 1 brand new an then this classic an I know old truck prices , DONT JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER OR HOW WE SOUND , I coulda partied cash an walked out today , You sir are a fool An I don’t know if I’ll turn myself off to Toyota even though that’s my second time being judged by them Last was on my first car they said I could afford but sent me to Kia an I spent just as much 28,000 then 25 yrs ago, this is the second time . I’ll never buy a car from Toyota in Alton , they can fly a kite I’ve never been so disrespected , off putted , an judged in my life He couldn’t take the time to actually sell , he is the worst salesman I’ve ever talked to . Good bye Toyota mugenist or whatever in Toyota Alton Btw Just looked on website that 1987 is not even on there .. Good riddance

11 service visits in 12 months were unable to fix a brand new car. Both Mungenast and Toyota Corporate were unhelpful in the end. The corporate "lemon law" analyst ruled they did not fail to fix our 2024 Prius despite the issue recurring just 47 days after the last "repair". After being asked to schedule a 12th service visit in 12 months, we decided to try for a trade on another new Toyota. We were offered $27,108 on a car purchased for $35,217 - which never worked correctly. That was their best foot forward. We walked out and did not return. Poor internal communication between corporate and the dealer, poor internal communication within the dealership. Excited for our first Toyota - disappointed with the reality. There are lemons in every brand, but how they handle them is key.
