Exactly what I wanted

Tuesday, May 18, 2021

I needed a reliable AWD vehicle on the smaller side with good gas mileage. I'm very happy, it's exactly what I wanted. The eyesight system works perfectly and is something you might expect only on a much more expensive car.

I leased my Imprezza for 3 yrs.

Thursday, January 07, 2021

I have thoroughly enjoyed my Imprezza. Comfortable, smooth ride, plenty of power, good gas mileage, and handles well. I am even thinking of buying out the car instead of re leasing.

I don't understant the negative reviews

Thursday, September 30, 2021

First, I want to say this is a legitimate review of my 2018 Subaru Impreza with 21, 445 miles. I am not paid or sponsoring anyone, like so many reviews these days, etc. I really don't get the negative reviews. I really love this car and the way it drives. I didn't purchase this car thinking it will drive like a Porsche 911, Ferrari, or an American muscle car. Come on people, it's a 2-liter engine that has 150 horsepower. Stop whining! People are so picky and complain about the slightest things. I read reviews here that the Civic and the Corrolla were better. Before I decided on this car, I test drove both of them... I hated the Civic's transmission and the overall feeling of the car. Regarding the Corolla, I felt it was too boring. In my opinion, I think the regular standard Impreza (without the manual padel shifters) runs great and on the highway, it is very smooth, responsive, and has plenty of pep. I really prefer this CVT to the one in the Impreza Sport and Crosstrek. After doing a lot of research on the FB20 motor it seems the FB201 and FB202 had issues with burning oil and Subaru seems to have resolved this issue on the FB203. I purchased the car about 2 months ago and have put on it 4,000 miles and the oil is still full... Yes, I know that my car doesn't have many miles and this problem can arise later. Only time will tell... I will just change the oil every 3,000 to 4,000 miles rather than the recommended 6,000 miles from Subaru. I would also like to add, I feel very safe in this car because of the AWD system and it handles great, even better than the Crosstrek version.
