“NOTE: This review is specifically for the SERVICE DEPARTMENT, not the dealership overall. I have been a loyal Ferman Chevrolet customer for many years, using them for routine maintenance on more than one Chevrolet, including my current truck. My overall experience with this dealership has been positive, which is why this situation was disappointing. I brought my truck in for a check engine / Service Engine Soon light. The service department quoted me $688.90 just for a thermostat replacement, with the total bill climbing to $1,200 when you add in fluid exchanges and fees. I declined the service and decided to get a second opinion. When I came to pick up my truck, they charged me $180 for the diagnostic (which is fair, diagnostics cost money). However, the service advisor applied significant pressure to keep my vehicle at their shop and to approve the additional recommended services on top of the already high thermostat replacement cost. I understand that upselling is part of the business, but the pressure felt excessive. I contacted Tampa FL Auto Works on US-41. The owner personally owns the same truck as mine, walked me through exactly what needed to be done, explained the repair in detail, and quoted me under $500 out the door, including the same fluid exchange Ferman wanted to charge me for. That is more than $700 less than Ferman’s total. Same repair. Same parts. Same fluid exchange. $700+ difference. If you are bringing your Chevy here for anything beyond routine maintenance or warranty work, do yourself a favor and get a second opinion first. The price difference on this repair was significant enough that I felt other customers deserved to know.”

“Great dealership to work with. From the time I called from out of state, went into the dealership, driving me back to thr airport and even them transporting the car to my house was incredibly. Justin Sales Rep was very informative giving updates throughout the whole process drove me back to Tampa airport in his personal car , Tom Sales Manager gave me a great deal on the car and he was a good person to deal with. He then proceeded to show me the Traverse that I completely fell in love with at first sight. Armando permitted me to take the vehicle on a test drive to ensure it would fit in my garage, that I could park with ease and navigate w/o a struggle because I initially had concerns as this model is larger than the Equinox. During price negotiations, I was treated with dignity and respect.
