“I could talk about how helpful sales and leasing consultant Kristijonas Gaska (Kris) was throughout the entire process of buying a “new” certified used 2022 Kona SEL (spotless and with less than 13,000 original miles!). I could also talk about how friendly and professional Kris was in reviewing and negotiating the pricing and final out-the-door cost of the Kona. But what I really want to share is how Kris went the extra mile in the delivery and handoff of the Kona to my wife and me. My original plan was to purchase a new Hyundai Kona or Venue for my wife as a surprise. But when visiting Crown Hyundai on a Friday afternoon, I spotted the 2022 Kona – spotless, low mileage and a great advertised price. After a test drive and negotiating a price with Kris, I bought it! Saturday morning, my wife and I drove to Crown Hyundai on the pretense of picking up my mother’s car from the GMC Buick dealer service department next door. Pulling into Crown Hyundai’s parking lot, I parked next to the Kona, which Kris had backed into the parking space and, to my surprise, placed a huge red bow across the hood. I told my wife the Kona was her “new” used car, and of course she did not believe me. With Kris approaching us as we got out of our car, with the Kona's keys in hand, my wife’s disbelief quickly turned into amazed excitement. The look of surprise on her face was everything for me!
