“I will first like to start by addressing my experience with the Used Car Sales Director, who was extremely rude and unprofessional during our interaction.
I purchased a used vehicle from this Toyota dealership after being told the car had been checked thoroughly and that certain issues had already been repaired. I specifically raised concerns before purchasing and was reassured multiple times that there was nothing to worry about and that they would not sell me a car if it wasn’t in good condition.
Less than a year after purchase, the check engine light came on. I sought a second opinion and was informed that several issues Toyota claimed were repaired or “okay” were, in fact, not fixed and not in good condition.
I contacted the dealership to give them an opportunity to help resolve the situation, considering the claims made at the time of sale. Instead, I was told that because the vehicle was sold “as-is,” they had no responsibility to assist in any way.
During this call, the Used Car Sales Director KB/KD was extremely rude and passive-aggressive, repeatedly interrupting me, raising his voice, and not allowing me to speak. The conversation was unprofessional and dismissive, and I was essentially told they did not care to help. Attempts to get assistance from others at the dealership were also unsuccessful.
I understand what “as-is” means, but transparency, honesty, and basic professionalism should still apply. Based on this experience, I will not be referring anyone to this dealership and will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau so others can make informed decisions.”

“Best experience I have ever had all around! We only went to get an idea of what kind of family car we wanted. Matthew was amazing showing us cars that would be a best fit for us. Especially with great trunk space and room. Kristoff was awesome and my kids had loved the coloring books they offered. With such a great experience and the warmness they offered on the cold windy day. We ended leasing a new Toyota Sienna and we love it so much already. I owned a Honda before and I am so glad I came back to Toyota.”

“I’m very disappointed with the ongoing issues I’ve had with this Toyota service department.
I received an oil change here on June 23, 2025. On Nov. 27, 2025 I started hearing a loud noise coming from my car. When I checked the dipstick, the oil was almost completely empty, far below the minimum mark. My car does not leak oil, so I had no explanation for how this happened.
I brought my car back on November 28, 2025 to ask why the oil was so low. Dean told me that my car “might be burning oil inside,” which didn’t make sense. I asked to speak to a manager, but no manager was ever called. I requested that the oil be replaced at no cost since the previous service was clearly not done correctly, but Dean said my car was already due for an oil change at 5,000 miles. I showed him my current mileage (87,809) and the Toyota sticker from June that said the next change was due at 88,826 — meaning I still had 1,017 miles left.
Despite this, I was still charged. And did also said he was going to apply $10 discount for the oil change and he failed to do.
Unfortunately, this is not the first problem I’ve had here. I previously asked Toyota to take care of an open recall involving the battery, but they never did. Also, I purchased a battery from Toyota and only lasted a year and kept dying. Even after showing them photos and video of acid leaking all over the battery, they refused to replace it and told me it “tested fine.” I went to AutoZone and Sam's Club to get the battery tested and at both locations the battery did not test fine, I was told I needed a new battery so I purchased a new a new battery on August 30, 2025 and had it installed by another mechanic — and I have not had a single issue since.
During my visit on November 28, Dean suddenly told me they would now fix the open recall and replace the components holding the battery. I asked why this was never addressed earlier, especially since I repeatedly requested it. He simply said he didn’t know. Now Dean/Toyota is saying that the alternator and several other parts are damaged, and I can’t help but wonder if this was caused by the battery issues that Toyota failed to address and the recall they ignored for so long. I emailed Dean to see if any of these new issues will be covered under the guarantee but as of today 12/03 he has not responded to my emails.
What is even more concerning is that after talking to several family members and friends who also go to this Toyota in Valencia, I learned they have had similar problems, including being charged for oil changes that were apparently not performed.
I’m sharing my experience so other customers are aware and can double-check their services. A dealership should value honesty, safety, and proper care — and unfortunately, I have lost confidence in this location.
I will update when and if I do hear from Toyota.”
