I scheduled an appointment, drove to the dealership, and after inspection they suddenly said, “We can’t honor that price — it was generated by AI.” This is the second time this has happened at two different AutoNation locations. Same script. Same excuse. If your offer is not real, don’t call it certified or guaranteed. Don’t waste customers’ time with bait-and-switch tactics and then blame “AI.” That’s not how professional businesses operate. Very disappointing and extremely unprofessional experience. I would not recommend doing business this way.”
