“We spent weeks searching for the perfect truck and believed we had finally found it at Auffenberg Ford. What followed was one of the most deceptive dealership experiences I’ve ever had. Before we even made the drive from Missouri (over an hour away), we confirmed the vehicle price and availability multiple times. Online sales confirmed the truck was available and priced at $5,200 off MSRP. We then called and spoke directly with the online sales representative, who again confirmed the price. We were redirected to Sean, the sales manager, who confirmed the same price in writing, along with a $367 doc fee and $400 licensing fee. Once assigned a sales representative, we made it very clear: if everything we discussed was accurate, we wanted the deal ready when we arrived. He agreed, had us complete the credit application, and assured us everything was good to go. When we arrived, my husband was handed the keys to inspect the truck and was told everything looked good enough that I could head back home. Thirty minutes into my drive, I got a call telling me to turn around and come get him. Suddenly, the price had been raised back to MSRP and they refused to budge. We were told it was an “internet mistake” — despite the price being confirmed by three different employees before we ever showed up. My husband sat there awkwardly and was ignored for the entire half hour it took for me to turn around and come back to get him. I’m assuming they thought we would bow down and just take it since he didn’t have a ride. This was a textbook bait-and-switch. Not only did they waste our time and fuel, but their actions cost us our business tax incentive, since it was now too late to purchase another vehicle before year-end. Ford Corporate has been contacted regarding these deceptive practices. I strongly advise anyone considering Auffenberg Ford to take your business elsewhere. EDIT: For the record the screenshot attached is from an EMAIL your sales team sent us confirming the price, not a cell phone screen shot but we have those too and they match the emails! This all boils down to you all refusing to accept that you screwed with the wrong people. Trying to blame it on technology. We have the receipts and we plan to purse this to the fullest!”

“I had a wonderful experience buying my Jeep!! I live about an hour away and I explained to Ali Thorpe my sales lady I wanted to do as much as possible over the phone and she exceeded my expectations!! They stayed late to make sure everything was in order!! The jeep needed a few things fixed, there was no hesitation in getting the Jeep scheduled, gave me a rental while it was being fixed. Ali and her team are wonderful to work with and I will definitely recommend Affenburg to others and come back when I need something else to drive!! Thank you everyone!! Shauna Kenley”

“I could not have asked for a better experience at Auffenberg Ford. I had seen a pre-owned 4Runner in their inventory and it has been my dream vehicle. I came in on a Saturday afternoon and spoke with Brendan Will. He was knowledgeable about the car and super easy to talk to. Going into a dealership can be nerve-wrecking, but they made it so easy. Brendan worked really hard to get me the best price on my trade-in. I really felt listened to during the entire process and never pressured. I have to give some praise to Finance manager Shawn McCarty as well, he was very time efficient and friendly. I am so happy with my 4Runner and will be telling everyone I know to buy their next vehicle with Auffenberg. Thank you to the entire team!!! Great communication, great attitudes, great prices!”

“I’m writing this as a wife who is devastated by what my family has gone through because of Auffenberg Ford. Less than three weeks after my husband traveled an hour away and bought a truck from them, the check-engine light came on while our children and I were in the vehicle. Warning chimes went off, and the truck suddenly limited itself to 62 mph on the highway. It was terrifying and completely unsafe. Since then, the truck won’t pass emissions, for obvious reasons, so we can’t title or insure it. It’s our only vehicle, and my husband now has out-of-town work forcing us to pay for rental cars. We’ve already spent money on diagnostics, and one mechanic even told us the wiring had clearly been worked on before and should have been disclosed. His advice: “Return it and get a refund.” Meanwhile, the dealership won’t help us. Calls go unanswered, no one will take responsibility, and we’re stuck making payments on a truck we can’t drive or legally register. All we wanted was something reliable for our family. Instead, we’ve been left stressed, stranded, and completely let down. Please...stay away from this dealership. Their lack of honesty and integrity has put our family in a terrible situation.”

“I love my 2025 Mustang Mach E Premium!!! I have the Desert Sand color which is different but I love to be different. Everything was perfect!!! Ali was a joy to work with and Jon was great also!!! They both explained a lot of things to me due to this is my first EV and I was kinda nervous about getting one. I will definitely be sending family and friends their way!!”
