How Does Capital One's Card Referral Program Work?
The first step is to sign in to your account to get your personal referral link. Then share that link with friends. If they’re a new Capital One cardholder and get approved using your link, you’ll earn a bonus for each friend approved.
You can also find your link in the mobile app. Look for the Refer a Friend tile on your account details page.
What is the referral bonus?
The referral bonus is based on which product you have. Sign in to your account or log into the mobile app to view what your specific referral bonus offer is.
Who's eligible to refer friends?
If you’re an existing cardholder in good standing, you may qualify for the card referral program. If any of your accounts are closed or in default, you won’t be eligible for the referral program. For Spark cardholders, check out the Refer a Business page to learn more.
What happens after I send a referral?
Once you send someone your referral link, it's up to them to complete the process. They'll need to apply using the link that you sent in order for you to get the bonus. Due to the confidential nature of the credit approval process, we won't disclose any information to you about who has applied.
