Editor's note: For consistency, Capital One sought out currently advertised offers using a Southern California ZIP code. Southern California is the country's largest new-car market, and it is not served by independent distributors that may set their prices, lease programs, and financing deals.

If your current car is starting to look and feel like yesterday's news, it may be time to upgrade to something shiny and new. This month, qualified buyers can take advantage of some special financing rates offered on popular models such as the Toyota Camry and Nissan Altima, as well as the luxurious and stylish Cadillac CT4.

Here's a look at five of the best car deals for October 2022.

2023 Toyota CamryToyota

2023 Toyota Camry: 3.49% APR Financing for 60 Months

The Toyota Camry mid-size sedan offers a big interior and loads of safety tech, but its appeal may be in the breadth of its lineup. From just-the-basics LE trim to sporty SE and XSE versions with their available V6 engine, to the ultra-efficient Camry Hybrid, there’s a model for just about everyone. This month, Toyota also offers special 3.49% APR financing for all Camrys except the high-performance TRD trim.

2022 Cadillac CT4: 2.99% APR Financing for 60 Months

Not including the high-performance V Series versions, the sporty and well-equipped Cadillac CT4 compact luxury sedan qualifies for low 2.99% APR financing this month. The best news is that Cadillac will let you stretch those payments out for up to five years. The CT4 lineup includes zippy turbocharged engines and optional all-wheel drive (AWD).

2022 Kia Rio Sedan and 5-Door: 3.49% APR Financing for 48 Months

Special low-interest financing rates aren’t just reserved for high-end models. The inexpensive Kia Rio—starting at about $17,500—is offered this month with 3.49% APR financing. This low-interest deal applies to sedan and hatchback versions of the Kia subcompact.

2022 Nissan AltimaNissan

2022 Nissan Altima: 2.25% APR Financing for 36 Months

Now through to the end of October, the lineup of Nissan sedans (ranging from the compact Sentra to the full-size Maxima) qualifies for low 2.25% APR financing. Smack dab in the middle of the lineup is the stylish Altima. It offers a wide range of versions, including a sporty turbo model and a winter-ready AWD version.

2022 Honda Civic Sedan: 2.9% APR Financing for 48 Months

The freshly restyled 2022 Honda Civic Sedan is made even more appealing this month thanks to this special 2.9% APR financing rate for 24 to 48 months. With Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)-estimated fuel economy as high as 36 mpg combined, the Civic four-door can be a money saver for drivers looking to get out of a thirsty SUV or older car.
