You may be able to cancel an electronic transfer that hasn't been processed yet.

To cancel a transfer, first sign into the Capital One website or open up the Capital One mobile app and navigate to the account where you set up the transfer.

On the website

  1. Look in the "Upcoming Transactions" area and select the transfer you'd like to cancel.
  2. Select "Cancel Transfer."

In the mobile app

  1. Select "View All Transactions."
  2. Choose the transfer you'd like to cancel.
  3. Tap on the "Cancel" button.
