Adding Your card to Garmin Pay
Step 1
Getting started
Open your Garmin Connect app. Go to “My Devices” and choose your watch. Select Garmin Pay and tap “Create Your Wallet.”
Step 2
Setting up your card
You will be prompted to create a 4-digit security passcode for your watch before being able to add your card to the app.
Step 3
Using Garmin Pay
Pay anywhere you see the contactless symbol. Just choose the card you'd like to use and hold your watch near the payment reader.

What is Garmin Pay?
Garmin Pay is a feature that allows you to make purchases on the go with your compatible Garmin device at any location where contactless payments are accepted.
Which of my Capital One cards can I use with Garmin Pay?
Garmin Pay is currently available for most Capital One credit and debit cards. It’s not currently available on all partner cards or debit cards, though it may be in the future.
How do I use Garmin Pay?
To start paying with your watch, you’ll need to connect a form of payment via your Garmin Connect app.
- Go to the Wallet icon on your watch and enter your four-digit passcode. NOTE: If you enter your passcode incorrectly three times, your wallet locks, and you must reset your passcode in the Garmin Connect mobile app.
- Select which card you’d like to use.
- Within 60 seconds, hold your watch face near the payment reader to complete your purchase.
Where can I use Garmin Pay?
You can use Garmin Pay almost anywhere that accepts contactless payments—from participating grocery stores, to public transit and more. Just look for the contactless symbol on the payment reader.
