Frequently Asked Questions

Garmin Pay is a feature that allows you to make purchases on the go with your compatible Garmin device at any location where contactless payments are accepted.

Garmin Pay is currently available for most Capital One credit and debit cards. It’s not currently available on all partner cards or debit cards, though it may be in the future.

To start paying with your watch, you’ll need to connect a form of payment via your Garmin Connect app.

  1. Go to the Wallet icon on your watch and enter your four-digit passcode. NOTE: If you enter your passcode incorrectly three times, your wallet locks, and you must reset your passcode in the Garmin Connect mobile app.
  2. Select which card you’d like to use.
  3. Within 60 seconds, hold your watch face near the payment reader to complete your purchase.

You can use Garmin Pay almost anywhere that accepts contactless payments—from participating grocery stores, to public transit and more. Just look for the contactless symbol on the payment reader.
