I have had nothing but problems with my 2019 Hyundai Kona, and I would never recommend this vehicle. The biggest issue has been reliability. My car has randomly shut off while I was driving, which is incredibly dangerous. There were times when the engine completely died while the radio and other electronics stayed on ( this will happens after only driving The car for 30 minutes). After multiple visits, they still couldn't properly diagnose the issue. Instead, I was repeatedly told it was different problems, leading to over $2,000 in unnecessary repairs that didn't even fix the actual issue. They kept diagnosing the wrong things while I continued dealing with the same dangerous problem. It's beyond frustrating to spend that kind of money only to have your car still be unreliable. I've lost confidence in this vehicle completely. A car shouldn't randomly shut off while you're driving, and it definitely shouldn't take multiple incorrect diagnoses and thousands of dollars just to still not have an answer. This has been one of the most stressful and disappointing vehicle ownership experiences I've ever had. I regret buying this car and would not recommend a 2019 Hyundai Kona to anyone.

Bought my limited in 2020, gas mileage on the highway has exceeded what was on the window sticker and is a little lower on city mileage. It's always average combined around 31-32 MPG, it very comfortable for 2 people, not so much for the people in the back. I wish it had a little more power, it's good from red light to red light, getting on the highway there is a slight delay on the boost from the turbo.

My Kona is a limited which is a max’ed out version. 1.6L turbo which has lots of power. A 7 series d tranny with three mode settings. Comfortable and good looking. Phone for unlocking and car info. I love this car and other than oil changes, tires, brakes - it’s been great.
