Was a decent car until later on

I bought a used 2013 versa with 196000 miles on it back in 2021 and at first it was a great car. Got me from point a to point b with little to no issue. As I drove it more (and believe me, I drove that thing A LOT) I started noticing that the transmission would slip when accelerating. I looked into it, and apparently this model year was made with a CVT (Consistent variable transmission) which is notorious for failing as it is ran on a belt and not a gearbox. I wouldn't recommend considering this car or anything from Nissan that's older than 06 because most of the models they made past that point have the same transmission in it and it WILL give you problems. These things are bound to fail at some point. Other than the transmission it was a good car with reasonable space and a pretty reliable 4 cylinder engine.
