2018 AudiA5 Sportback Premium Plus For Sale

Had a 2021 s-line premium plus + black optic package. It's a nimble, fun car and it looks fantastic. It handled well in light snow, pretty much done everything I've asked of it. It was mainly used as a daily driver with a short 30 minute freeway commute to the office. Cons: limited in-cabin storage, Qi wireless charger doesn't really work, audi's MMI is buggy (doesn't keep addresses), random unexplained failure of lane sensing tech. But even with these gripes, i don't regret having this car from 2021-2024.

Drivetrain: The 2024 A5 Sportback 45 Premium is my first ever luxury car. My wife and I purchased it because we had rented it + several other Audis over the years and we've really been impressed by the way Audis drive. The 2.0L engine is silky smooth + powerful and it pairs beautifully with the 7 speed DSG. I've driven many cars, including all of this car's competitors, and it's hard to think of a better engine + transmission pairing. Even in city driving, the way this car operates is simply a pleasure. Practicality: We considered the A4. After all, they are literally the same car. I've driven both and I wasn't able to discern any difference whatsoever in how the two drive (which is to say, both drive well). The reason we, and probably everyone else, spent extra on the A5 is because of its trunk. It has a very large powered hatch with 22 ft^3 of space. That's more than the first gen Porsche Cayenne, to put things in perspective. You can fit a lot in here. It's a great compromise for people like me who don't like SUVs and whose wives don't like wagons. HOWEVER - back seat space is tiny. My wife and I are both very tall. We're perfectly fine up front, but when we do have rear-seat passengers, we have to move our seats up quite a bit to make everybody comfortable. Not recommended if you're tall and frequently have rear-seat passengers. Fine for occasional use though. Electronics: This is where the car falls apart for us. We've had the car 3 months and it's been to the dealer multiple times because the Apple CarPlay module is either glitchy or just stops working. It's been replaced once under warranty, but we've noticed minimal improvement. Now, all of the sudden, blind-spot monitoring stopped working. The LKA system also works relatively sporadically. I will say though that we might have just gotten a lemon - as stated above, I've rented probably 8 Audis through National car rental in the last 5 years or so. They've all been great. None of these issues noted. Just my luck that the one I actually buy ends up with an issue...

My A5 sportback just looks and performs great. Added sport and upgraded radio packages and cannot fault the car. Lots of truck space and so many features to keep everyone happy.
