Absolutely brilliant car, well built, smooth quiet and absolutely brilliant family car in all sorts of inhospitable terrain.

Incredible car with one huge issue-

01/13/2022

I’ll start by saying this is one beautiful, comfortable, great to drive car. It’s my second Audi, the first an A4 many years ago. The features are easy to use. The safety of blind spot, park assist are wonderful. I think the pick up is fast and handles like a dream. Here’s the big downside-within last 10 months or so I am burning oil…..like every 4 days burning oil. Mechanic checked it out and couldn’t find the source. Now it’s gone from the oil burning to the coolant going below minimum every few weeks. This is insanity for this brand of car with low mileage for the age. I’m not sure what the problem is but I’m pretty certain it’ll cost thousands unless I just do a trade in. I have never had a car eat oil and now coolant like this. Unacceptable. I will probably return to a Lexus SUV which are much, much less expensive to fix and so reliable.

Great Winter Car

04/21/2021

Amazing performance driving through the mountains on a snowy and icy road. Which is what I was looking for. The acceleration won't set any records, but it's pretty good. The one downside is not much cargo space with the rear seats up. I bought a cargo carrier which solves that problem for me. The seats are some of the most comfortable car seats I've sat in. I've owned this car for a couple of years, bought it from the original owner at 40K miles. I was a little hesitant to get an Audi out of warranty, but so far so good. Other than regular maintenance (which is a little pricy, an oil change is $90 at an indy Euro mechanic for example) so far so good. Nothing major has gone wrong.
