Toyota reintroduced the Nightshade trim level, adding it to the 2024 Corolla Hatchback lineup. It joins the SE and XSE, and all models feature a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine producing 169 horsepower. The EPA-estimated fuel economy ranges from 33 mpg in combined city and highway driving to 35 mpg. A performance-tuned GR Corolla version is available but discussed separately. The 2024 Toyota Corolla Hatchback seats five people and provides up to 23 cubic-feet of cargo space. An 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionality is standard. The list of available safety features includes blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert.
