Car Overview
Kia introduced the Stinger for the 2018 model year. It is an upscale, performance-oriented, midsize four-door hatchback available in base, Premium, GT, GT1, and GT2 trims. A turbocharged four-cylinder engine making 255 horsepower is standard, with a turbocharged 365-hp V6 powering the GT, GT1, and GT2. An eight-speed automatic transmission powers the rear wheels unless the Stinger has the available all-wheel-drive system. The EPA-estimated gas mileage ranges from 22/29/25 mpg city/highway/combined to 17/25/20 mpg, depending on the powertrain. The 2018 Kia Stinger seats five people and provides 23.3 cubic-feet of cargo room behind the back seats.Â
