Car Overview
Chevrolet Spark
What’s smaller than a small car? A minicar, according to the Chevrolet Spark. The Spark first went on sale for the 2013 model year, a tall hatchback with a tiny footprint and seating for four people. It had a 1.25L four-cylinder engine making 84 hp, and by folding the back seat, you could create a 31.2 cu. ft. cargo space. In 2014, an electric version debuted, offering 82 miles of driving range. When Chevy redesigned the Spark for 2017, the Spark EV was not on the menu. Instead, the second-generation Spark came in LS, LT, and Activ trim with a gas-burning 1.4L four-cylinder engine. The Spark Activ had SUV styling cues and a slight suspension lift to attract active lifestyle customers. Shortly after the second-generation Spark went on sale, Chevrolet began discontinuing its traditional cars. The company made the last Spark for the 2022 model year.
