So far I am impressed with city cargo van
Friday, August 28, 2020
Never owned a Dodge product before I am impressed except with technology. Traded in a 2019 Kia Forte FX. That is base model. Kia technology is far superior to Ram. But I wanted a small van to convert to mini travel van to sleep in. It is big enough for that purpose. Carpeting rear floor and walls insulating sides and roof. Doing all myself with local products. Have seen a lot of reviews that state it will not shift to 9 the. gear. Mine did not for first 400 miles but now does at 70 mph. For price could not beat the Ram City cargo van. It has plenty of get up and go. Shifts are smooth can drive like a manual if you want just no clutch. Will update if my opinion changes. Eric from Lombard IL

Great van. 3/4 ton cargo or camper that seats 5.

Easy to customize into camper van. Quiet ride if insulated and walls are finished. Great mileage for a van that hauls 3/4 ton. Drives easily and parks easily. Short enough to fit in a parking garage. Comfortable and very adaptable to jobs, family, and fun. Drives like a car, hauls like a van. Only van with rear windows that go up and down like a car window.

started out with issues but resolved T think

I may have answer to transmission issues many are citing. We purchased this vehicle with dual controls for use on a mail route. Size and cargo space and height to box were near perfect, but we began having shifting issues within 3 days. We drove 323 miles back to dealer and stayed in hotel. Found brake codes, cleared and back home only to have same problem. This time dealer sent another vehicle for my wife to use. Person driving back to dealer discovered after a few miles that brake pedal (electronic) was sticking causing brake code and would not allow proper shifting. After 5 days dealer put a spring on brake return and now after 3 weeks of 75 miles per day and stopping approx. 600 times per day NO MORE shifting issues. Vehicle is near perfect for our needs providing we have no more problems. Speedometer is hard to read and doubly so as she is riding on the right side but speed is not what we need and I have to say that compared to the RHD Jeep she had this one is a pleasure to drive.
