Nissan2025 Nissan Pathfinder Trim Levels
The 2025 Nissan Pathfinder is available in five trim levels: S, SV, Rock Creek, SL, and Platinum. A 3.5-liter V6 — making between 284 and 295 horsepower — drives either the front or all four wheels through a nine-speed automatic transmission. All but the Rock Creek come standard with eight seats, though a seven-seater option is available throughout most of the lineup.
- S
The Pathfinder S features 18-inch alloy wheels, cloth seats, an 8.0-inch touchscreen with wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionality, a 7.0-inch driver display, proximity keyless entry, and tri-zone automatic climate control.
- SV
The SV receives a power liftgate, heated front seats, adaptive cruise control, lane-centering assist, a powered driver's seat, and remote engine start.
- Rock Creek
The Rock Creek gets an off-road-tuned suspension, leatherette upholstery, a tow hitch, and a surround-view camera system.
- SL
The SL features a heated steering wheel, leather-appointed seats in the first two rows, a 9.0-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay compatibility, built-in navigation, a wireless charging pad, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. Buyers can also opt for heated second-row outboard seats and a 13-speaker Bose stereo.
Platinum
The Platinum gets the SL's optional features, plus rain-sensing windshield wipers, a motion-activated power liftgate, front-seat cooling, a head-up display, and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. It also rolls on 20-inch aluminum alloy wheels.

2025 Nissan Pathfinder Cargo Capacity and Towing
The Pathfinder offers 16.6 cubic-feet of cargo room behind the third row of seats, 45 cu-ft behind the second row, and 80.5 cu-ft with the back two rows folded down. Depending on how it's equipped, the 2025 Pathfinder can tow either up to 3,500 pounds or up to 6,000 pounds.
2025 Nissan Pathfinder Fuel Economy
The most efficient 2025 Nissan Pathfinder boasts a class-competitive EPA rating of 23 mpg in combined city and highway driving. Somewhat surprisingly, those numbers are for the AWD model. Opting for the top-of-the-line Platinum (which wears 20-inch wheels) or the off-road-oriented Rock Creek reduces efficiency a bit.

The 2025 Pathfinder comes with automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, forward-collision warning, blind-spot warning, rear-cross-traffic alert, rear automatic braking, and lane-departure warning. ProPilot Assist, Nissan's advanced driver-assistance system, is available on upper trim levels. Blind-Spot Intervention, which helps prevent blind-spot collisions, and Traffic Sign Recognition, which displays information from traffic signs in the instrument cluster, are also available on higher trims.
