What's New for the 2025 Hyundai Kona:

The previous SEL Convenience option package is now its own trim level for the Kona. The subcompact SUV also gets a new N Line S model, which is a less expensive variant of the N Line trim that uses its more potent turbocharged engine.

Despite being a small SUV, the 2025 Hyundai Kona is surprisingly spacious and packs many features for the price. Hyundai also offers an electric Kona, but we review that model separately.

Pros

  • Decent fuel economy across the range
  • Reasonably priced upgrade engine

Cons

  • No conventional hybrid model
  • Just average driving dynamics
