2025 Honda Pilot Trim Levels
When you buy a 2025 Pilot, you choose from Sport, EX-L, TrailSport, Touring, Elite, and Black Edition trim levels. Eight-passenger seating is standard, except on the TrailSport, which has second-row captain's chairs and accommodates seven people. In all but the Pilot Sport, the middle part of the second-row bench seat is removable.
Every Pilot has a 3.5-liter V6 engine making 285 horsepower and a 10-speed automatic transmission. The Sport, EX-L, and Touring have standard FWD with AWD available as an option. The AWD system is standard on other Pilot trims. When equipped with AWD, the maximum towing capacity is 5,000 pounds.
- Sport
The Pilot Sport features 20-inch alloy wheels, roof rails, passive keyless entry with walk-away automatic locking, and remote engine starting. Inside, the Sport includes three-zone automatic climate control, cloth upholstery, and heated front seats with 10-way power adjustment for the driver's seat. A 7.0-inch digital driver display and a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system are standard, with the latter supporting wired Apple CarPlay and wired Android Auto smartphone connectivity.
- EX-L
Building on the base Sport trim, the Pilot EX-L has 18-inch alloy wheels, heated exterior mirrors, and a power liftgate. Leather-trimmed seats are standard on this version of the SUV, along with memory for the driver's settings, second-row window shades, and rear climate controls. A larger 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system upgrades the Pilot with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, SiriusXM satellite radio, and an upgraded audio system.
- TrailSport
The TrailSport is the most rugged version of the Pilot. It has standard AWD, all-terrain tires, and a raised suspension that adds an extra inch of ground clearance. Honda also outfits the Pilot TrailSport with skid plates, a trailer hitch, and front and rear recovery hooks. Equipment-wise, it's mostly outfitted like the EX-L, except with a panoramic sunroof, a heated steering wheel, synthetic leather upholstery with orange stitching, and second-row captain's chairs.
- Touring
Building on the EX-L, the Pilot Touring includes 20-inch alloy wheels and a hands-free power liftgate with a walk-away automatic-closing function. Inside, the Touring features ambient lighting and a panoramic sunroof. The infotainment system provides built-in Wi-Fi hot spot access and a navigation system, and the Touring benefits from a 12-speaker Bose premium sound system.
- Elite
To the Touring, the Pilot Elite adds AWD, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and a heated steering wheel. Interior upgrades include perforated leather-trimmed seats, ventilated front seats, and heated second-row seats. A 10.2-inch digital driver display and a 4.0-inch head-up display are also standard.
- Black Edition
The new-for-2025 Black Edition is equipped like the Elite, but with exclusive blacked-out wheels, black exterior trim, and red-accented interior details.
