Hyundai Models That Offer an XRT Trim

The XRT trim level appeared on Hyundai's Tucson and Santa Fe for the 2022 model year. It was expanded to include the three-row Palisade for 2023 and made its way to the Santa Cruz pickup for 2024. The XRT name appears on an electric model for the first time with the 2025 Ioniq 5.

Features of the XRT Trim

The features bundled into the XRT trim level vary from model to model.

Offered with front-wheel drive (FWD) or all-wheel drive (AWD), the Tucson XRT stands out from other trim levels with 18-inch alloy wheels, a black finish on the lower part of the front fascia, plastic cladding on the wheel arches, black door handles and mirror caps, a hitch, roof rails, and XRT-branded front seats, among other equipment.

The Santa Fe XRT features 1.3 inches of additional ground clearance, standard AWD, 18-inch alloy wheels with a dark finish, and leatherlike H-Tex upholstery with the XRT logo on each front seatback.

Like the Tucson, the Palisade XRT comes standard with FWD and offers AWD at an extra cost. Riding on black 20-inch wheels, it gets redesigned bumpers, a dark finish on the grille, trim-specific side skirts, roof rails, and black H-Tex upholstery.

The Santa Cruz XRT comes standard with several trim-specific exterior accents, including wheel arch flares, 18-inch rims, and side steps. H-Tex upholstery is included as well.

The 2025 Ioniq 5 XRT rides about an inch higher than the regular Ioniq 5, thanks to changes made to the suspension. Hyundai also added 18-inch wheels, a camouflage-like finish on the bumpers and wheel arch flares, red front tow hooks, and black H-Tex upholstery.

The Bottom Line on XRT Trim

Hyundai positions the XRT trim in the middle or near the top of each model's range.

The Tucson XRT costs just above $34,000 with FWD and nearly $36,000 with AWD, while the base model starts around $30,000. The 2025 Santa Fe XRT costs about $42,000, compared with about $36,000 for the base model. Pricing for the Palisade XRT starts at around $44,000 with FWD and around $46,000 with AWD, versus the base trim that starts at a little less than $39,000 with FWD.

The 2024 Santa Cruz XRT costs about $41,000. For context, the base Santa Cruz starts around $28,000. The 2025 Ioniq 5 XRT starts above $56,000, compared with the base model's roughly $44,000 price.
