Honda's 2026 Accord LX and SE Get New Infotainment System
Honda hasn't made many changes to the 2026 Accord, which continues in LX, SE, Sport, EX-L, Sport-L, and Touring trim levels. The LX and SE have a turbocharged four-cylinder engine, while the other versions feature Honda's thrifty two-motor hybrid powertrain.
However, while modifications to the car are minimal, the LX and SE receive a new 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system equipped with wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto connectivity, plus a wireless smartphone charger. Honda says the display screen is about 30% larger than the 7.0-inch display offered last year.
Shown above is the 12.3-inch touchscreen display that is standard in other Accord models. The Touring trim level features Google built-in, which equips the car with Google Maps, Google Assistant, and access to the Google Play app store.

2026 Honda Accord SE Has Wheels That Match the Sport Hybrid
In addition to the new infotainment system, the Accord SE boasts a nicer set of standard wheels. The 19-inch, five-spoke design, donated by the Accord Sport Hybrid, features black paint with a machined finish and adds more personality to the SE trim level.
Speaking of the Sport Hybrid, it gets black exterior window-surround trim. That trim level and the Sport-L also have new black exterior accents and black badges on the trunklid.
Otherwise, the 2026 Accord is largely the same as the 2025 model. A turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine powers the LX and SE with 192 horsepower and 192 pound-feet of torque. A continuously variable transmission (CVT) drives the car's front wheels.
Hybrids make 204 horsepower and 247 lb-ft of torque, and average as much as 48 mpg in combined city and highway driving. The two-motor hybrid powertrain is unusual in that an electric motor is the primary propulsion unit, with the gasoline engine serving as a generator. At highway speeds, the gas engine directly powers the front wheels.

The 2026 Honda Accord's Prices Rise Less Than $200
Though Honda has significantly improved the Accord LX ($28,395) and Accord SE ($30,695), prices rise by just $100 for the LX and $135 for the SE. Hybrids increase by $120 to $195, depending on the trim level. The breakdown is as follows: Sport Hybrid ($33,795), EX-L ($35,095), Sport-L Hybrid ($35,495), and Touring ($39,495). The destination charge is $1,195, the same as in 2025.
Honda last redesigned the Accord for the 2023 model year, and the car hasn't changed much since. That trend continues for 2026. However, the Accord faces fewer rivals than ever, and though it doesn't offer an available all-wheel-drive system, it remains one of the best choices in a midsize sedan.
Among the Accord's competitors, worthwhile alternatives include the Hyundai Sonata and Toyota Camry. Each of those also offers hybrid power and boasts a similar safety-rating track record to the Accord.
