Cadillac is injecting a healthy dose of performance into its all-electric Optiq compact crossover SUV. In doing so, the 2026 Cadillac Optiq-V becomes the second Cadillac electric vehicle to receive the V-Series treatment, following the Lyriq-V.

Pricing for the new 2026 Cadillac Optiq-V starts at $68,795, including the destination charge. Cadillac plans to sell the new Optiq-V in North America and the Middle East, with production set to begin in the fall of 2025.

2026 Cadillac Optiq-V: V-Series Power and Performance

The cornerstone of Cadillac's V-Series models is serious power. In that regard, the new Optiq-V doesn't disappoint. With an estimated 519 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque, the Optiq-V brings significantly more power to the table than the standard Optiq, which produces an estimated 300 horsepower and 354 lb-ft.

The Optiq-V's additional power results in a Cadillac-estimated zero-to-60-mph time of 3.5 seconds, just a couple of ticks slower than the 615-hp Lyriq-V's 3.3 seconds. Dual electric motors provide all-wheel-drive traction, while a launch-control system and Velocity Max driver-selectable setting contribute to the Optiq-V's quick acceleration. Standard 21-inch all-season or available summer tires help maintain traction, while Brembo front brakes assist in bringing the Optiq-V to a halt.

Various drive-mode settings contribute to the Optiq-V's enthusiast driving experience. Competitive Mode allows drivers to adjust the traction-management settings for maximum performance, while V-Mode lets you save performance-focused settings, including sound preferences. Drivers can access V-Mode via the steering wheel-mounted "V" button or through the Drive Mode app, which is accessible on the vehicle's infotainment touchscreen.

2026 Cadillac Optiq-V: V-Themed Design Cues Both Inside and Out

Cadillac's V-Series models offer more than just enhanced performance — they also possess a level of visual flair, with various design elements inspired by and incorporating the "V" logo.

Starting at the front, the Optiq-V has an eye-catching fascia, V-pattern mesh in the lower grille, a gloss-black front splitter, and body-colored lower trim. Buyers can opt for a carbon-fiber package, which includes a front splitter, rear diffuser, and mid-spoiler.

Other noteworthy design elements include a black roof, rear quarter windows featuring a blue V-patterned theme, and a gloss-black lower diffuser on the rear liftgate. The standard 21-inch satin graphite alloy wheels incorporate a laser-etched V-Series badge; buyers can opt for polished or painted wheels with a dark finish.

Inside the cabin, you'll find more V-exclusive design touches. Buyers can choose between two standard interior themes, both of which make heavy use of the color Santorini Blue. Those looking for even more blue can opt for Santorini Blue seatbacks and seat belts. Naturally, various V-Series patterns, badges, and logos pepper the cabin.

2026 Cadillac Optiq-V: Standard NACS Port Simplifies Charging

Cadillac said the Optiq-V is the first General Motors model to incorporate a native North American Charging Standard (NACS) charge port. According to the automaker, switching to the NACS standard will make it easier for owners to find and use fast chargers across North America. Thanks to the NACS charging network, Optiq-V owners can easily and quickly recharge their 85-kilowatt-hour battery packs, allowing them to enjoy a Cadillac-estimated 275 miles of range.
