Car Overview
GMC Savana
GMC banks on its “professional grade” image to appeal to both consumers and commercial enterprises. For decades, the latter constituency depended on GMC for full-size vans, and to underscore the model’s durability, at one point the company sold it as the GMC Vandura. Today’s Savana offers a similar play on words and is much the same as it was when it first went on sale in the mid-1990s. Available in Cargo, Passenger, and Cutaway configurations, the Savana carries as much as 283 cubic feet of cargo and as many as 15 passengers. Gasoline-fired V6 and V8 engines are available, as well as a diesel four-cylinder. Depending on the configuration, a Savana can tow 10,000 lbs. Show More
