Land Rover Discovery
Land Rover has called the Discovery many names since it arrived in the U.S. market in 1995. The original Discovery begat the Discovery Series II, which became the LR3, and then the LR4 before Land Rover revived the original Discovery nameplate in 2017. Some people even refer to this midsize SUV as the Disco. The Land Rover Discovery blends rugged off-road capability with upscale luxury in a family-friendly package, no matter what you call it. The latest Discovery models feature turbocharged four- and six-cylinder engines that effortlessly whisk you off on adventures that lie beyond where the pavement ends, and the three-row Discovery offers stout towing capacity. A smaller model unrelated to the Discovery is called the Discovery Sport.
