“I initially had my car at Bergeys Subaru in Hanover and they advised me that my rear right wheel bearing needed replaced. At the time, I did not have the full amount due. They quoted me $600. Bergeys also inspected my car, worked on a transmission issue I was having and performed an oil change and air filter replaced. All that was completed 2 WEEKS AGO. Knowing I needed the wheel bearing fixed asap, I saved the ne necessary amount and tried getting an appt at Bergeys. They could not get me in until the end of the week so I elected to go to Ciocca Subaru. (I stupidly assumed they were affiliated) I waited 45 min until the gal gave me the quote. I was floored when they quoted me OVER 2000 DOLLARS! She explained that the wheel bearing was exceptionally rusty and because of that, she needed to quote me a higher labor rate. In addition, she advised that I needed a new air filter. (It was just changed 2 weeks ago) and that 3 bulbs were out in my car. How could my car pass inspection with 3 bulbs out? After commenting on the higher price, she offered me a 8% discount, but my bill would still be nearly $2000. If you want to be fleeced, take your car here. I will take my car to Bergeys, where they are honest.”
