“My granddaughter purchased a 2014 Volkswagen Jetta from Fred Beans in March, and I cosigned her loan through Westlake Financial. From the very beginning, this car has had nonstop complications. Now, not even 8 months later, the dealership is telling her she “might as well” buy a new car and have me cosign again. To me, this shows they already knew the vehicle had major issues before selling it to her. It is completely unfair and unacceptable. She paid nearly $12,000, and now they claim the car is only worth less than $2,000. The math doesn’t add up. A car doesn’t lose more than half its value in a few months unless it had serious problems from the start. This makes it clear they took advantage of a first-time buyer. The salesperson Jay Park and the new manager Shane both acted like they were going to help her. They fed her information, made promises, and reassured her that they would “take care of her,” but in the end, they did absolutely nothing. Their behavior was misleading and unprofessional. Every time she needs a repair, they force her to drive almost an hour to Fred Beans Volkswagen in Doylestown, instead of handling the problem at the dealership where she purchased the car. This is clearly an attempt to push responsibility onto someone else. They also mentioned something about the “equity” of the car — but how can they talk about equity when the car hasn’t even been owned for 8 months and is already falling apart? They refuse to help or stand behind what they sold. Instead, they want her to roll what she owes into a new loan and take on even more debt with Westlake Financial. Now she’s being told she may need to spend nearly $5,000 in maintenance, which is almost half of what she paid for the entire car. And despite all of this, they refuse to sell her an extended warranty — even though they never mentioned it when she first bought the car. Now we understand why. I will not be doing any more business with Fred Beans. Their actions have been uncalled for, unethical, and predatory. If they do not correct this situation, I will seriously consider taking legal action, because they knowingly sold her a defective car and refuse to take responsibility.”

“We bought in August 2025. The vehicle we purchased is very nice and was absolutely the best part of the experience. The sales person was nice but lacked in some critical knowledge and informed us incorrectly about a certain feature that played a big part in us purchasing the vehicle when we did. As we were getting this addressed there was very poor communication. Beans did end up addressing the issue, but again what we received was different than what we were told. I later learned that what we received was the only option Hyundai offered, which was fine it just needed to be communicated properly. We also agreed to terms on the contract that were not met. I informed them of what was happening and while the accounting dept answered the phone, they just continued to give me the same answer each time of we need to talk to the GM. After weeks of calling and receiving the same answer with no resolution I gave up on trying to get one. This was again something that was very much needed at the time of purchase and was explicitly stated in our contract, but wasn’t honored. So all in all we are happy with the vehicle but the sales/accounting process was tough to deal with and really ruined the experience.”

“Met with sales rep Trevor tonight. He was patient with me and good at explaining the features of the vehicle I was interested in - Santa Fe Limited. He explained to me he’d only been there 2 weeks, and his level of vehicle knowledge and how he handled himself are a strong testament to his abilities and also the training that Fred Beans offers their employees. I was impressed. I also met the used car manager who was a cool guy and gave me a generous appraisal for my trade in. On top of that the general manager actually introduced himself to me. That’s not a common practice and made the visit seem more personal, and he was a down to earth guy. It was nice how they made it clear they definitely wanted to earn my business, but weren’t too pushy like some dealerships can be.”

“John D. Gomez was great at helping my family trade in our vehicle and get a newer model. Easy to talk to with our concerns, heard us out and got us a good deal. Will come back in the future! Love the Chevy”

“John D. Gómez helped my mom get the car that she wanted, her dream car. He provided great service and was very kind and patient. Will definitely recommend 100%. Especially to those wanting to find a car of their dreams. In the future, Lord willing I would go to him if I want to get a new car for myself.”
