“We purchased a truck from Taverna in January 2026. It arrived at 3 am. When we drove it for the first time, it died (January 12), and we had to have it towed. We had to actively pursue a response from the dealership to receive help. The initial suspected fix was $2300; a new fuel pump was indicated. Taverna sent us an illegal NDA after we wrote a negative review online, and said they would cover the fix only if we signed it. Against our better judgement, trusting the dealership, we signed it, and they told us a check was in the mail (January 21), and that we should pay for the fix ourselves in the meantime, since we needed a vehicle. The check never came. I could not get a response from the dealership about the check until I reached out to a senior leader at the dealership. I was contacted and told they had forgot to send the check. The check arrived via overnight delivery on February 9th. The new fuel pump was not working, leading to the shop then taking apart the vehicle and discovering that it was a flooded vehicle- which was not disclosed. The fix was going to be extremely expensive, and the truck was not guaranteed to be reliable moving forward. We contacted the dealership and were told, essentially, "too bad." We could pay to ship the truck back to them, pay for the first fix AND the new fix, and start the buying process over again with a hard credit check at another dealership. We are not wealthy, and this is a major expense and purchase that needed to be done correctly. We hassled them relentlessly, including having to reach back out to senior leadership, and they finally agreed to exchange the truck for a truck that was four years older- an even trade, they said, no impact to our credit. When we received the paperwork, there was a $4000 fee attached. When we asked about it, that was the return shipping fee for the old truck, which we had been told would be covered by the dealership. When we inquired again, they told us that was an extra balance from our lender (it was not and is not reflected anywhere in our documentation with that lender). At this point, we had been without a vehicle for over a month, and wanted it finished. We agreed to pay the $4000 for an OLDER truck, and sent in our contract. They did a hard pull on our credit despite it being an 'even trade' and our credit scores went down around 200 points each when all was said and done- from about 800 to about 600. Then they called us and said "oops we sold the truck" and they started searching for another truck. In the meantime, they told us they had paid off the first truck. However, we are receiving phone calls and letters stating that loan was never paid off by the dealership, and we are in default on our loan. The lender cannot help us. I am dreading any further impact on our credit. On February 27th, the third truck was delivered- it was a year older than the first truck, and had the $4,000 fee built into the contract. It was absolutely filthy, full of trash, and had damage that had not been disclosed to the body and controls. The dealership refuses to help us further. I wish we had never purchased from this dealership; if you do research on them, you will find myriad problems. The Better Business Bureau has given them an F rating. I have never done business with such an unethical company in my life. We are still awaiting confirmation of paid off loan for #1.”

“I had a great experience with the Taverna Collection. I worked with Ignacio, he was kind, helpful, and genuine. My car was shipped out of state and the process was smooth. When the car was delivered it was well kept, clean, and drove seamlessly. Definitely recommend!”

“I recently purchased a 2019 Chevy Corvette from this dealership, and my experience has been incredibly disappointing. I live out of state and was in search for my dream car. Initially, I was assisted by a sales representative named Blake, who assured me that the car was in “excellent condition” with only a minor accident and no cosmetic damage. Unfortunately, this could not be further from the truth.
Upon delivery, I discovered that I received paperwork for a 2018 Corvette instead. The interior was in poor condition: it was dirty, stained, and reeked of cigarette smoke, with burns throughout the seats. The dashboard was ripped and showed signs of water damage, while the seats had multiple rips. The car has a tow hook underneath the vehicle. To top it off, the exterior photos I saw online featured a back wing that was not on the car I received.
I tried contacting customer service and was transferred several times, eventually speaking with a representative named Jazylnn. Despite providing her with photos and details about the car’s condition, I was promised reimbursement for damages and detailing, which has yet to materialize.
I didn’t expect to deal with so many issues after purchasing a vehicle. My attempts to reach Jazylnn went unanswered, and I later learned she no longer works there. This lack of communication and support is unacceptable.
If I had known the true condition of this vehicle beforehand, I would not have made the purchase. I urge potential customers to proceed with caution and thoroughly investigate any vehicle before buying. My experience has been frustrating and time-consuming, and I hope others can avoid similar issues.”
