“Be thorough in doing your homework, I wasn't. If the price sounds too good to be true it probably is. I purchased a 2023 vehicle with 43k miles, and was assured it had a meticulous maintenance record. 2 months later, bringing the car to my local Audi dealer for a minor service light and I find that I am now 5k miles late for a $1600, routine 40k mile service check. The car is able to be sold for below Kelly Blue Book by Enterprise because apparently they do not maintain manufacturer recommended service on their vehicles, they only complete the minimum maintenance, then sell them off when expensive service is due. And now, most disappointingly, my efforts to contact Enterprise via text and email are being ignored. Really nice process up front - they made everything sound great. They just weren't being honest in their sales pitch regarding the maintenance history. Next time I'll pay a little more to work directly with a dealer who can access and guarantee a vehicle's service history. Update - an AI generated reply, sounding very concerned and guaranteeing a call from a person at the dealership - was unfulfilled.”
