“- - editing my review I posted yesterday because after refreshing the listing today, the webpage said that the car was sold. Original review below - - I can't trust this dealership after looking at a listing for a 2024 Lexus LC 500 on their website. The vehicle's alleged potentially troubling history is not disclosed anywhere on their website that I can find. Description states that it's "practically brand new", "arrived to us very clean", and that "you can immediately tell the previous owner kept it in excellent condition". After searching its VIN on the NICB website, records show that it was declared a total loss from flood damage. Searching its VIN on auction records online, anyone can find images from the auction of the vehicle with water present in the engine bay and interior (water spots and soaking are visible on seats, carpeting, steering wheel, and center console arm rest). As far as I can tell, this was a Florida car that may have unfortunately been a victim of hurricane Milton or other severe flooding event. I'm all for restoring and preserving beautiful cars, but in my opinion, dealerships should not tell 'only part of the truth' in the listing while omitting the rest of the truth. The alleged salvage title history likely may affect insurance rates. Flood damage can cause corrosion deep within a car's circuit boards, wiring, and connectors that may only start negatively affecting the vehicle after years of ownership. I believe that these are things that a prospective buyer should be aware of before even visiting the dealership. If Imotobank amend the listing to include the alleged full truth of this vehicle's history, I believe that would show to me and the rest of the community that Imotobank cares about transparent, fully honest business - and I will gladly change my review to reflect that. I will also change my review if I get any further information that irrefutably proves my review to be incorrect. I'm not saying that people should avoid this business, but I will say that people should take caution and do research before they visit this business. It is my view that I have expressed fair comment, and not exaggerated or stated anything that I know to be untruthful in this review. I believe that first impressions are important in sales, and for me, this vehicle's online listing is not a good first impression.”
