“Just bought my first Volvo. My salesman,Ryan Thaler, made the process comfortable with no pressure. He found the car that worked best for me and my needs. He answered all my questions. A pleasure from beginning to end. Ty, the business manager, made sure I understood all the details of the sale and extended warranty. Staying way past close- I never felt rushed. The general manager, Mike Leichen, introduced himself and checked in along the sales process and chatted. Encouraged me if there is ever an issue to feel free to reach out to him. Very welcoming Great team effort - well done everybody”

“Everyone at Leikin was friendly and easy to work with. Very knowledgeable and helpful with all of my questions and concerns. I had a great car buying experience with Ryan T and the rest of the staff, and love my new car.”

“I have purchased 4 vehicles over 20 years from Leikin Volvo. My most recent service visit was the worst experience I have ever had with a car dealership. In the past, I would take the car in for service and get a phone call with any suggested repairs with a cost. My most recent visit I did get a call explaining that I had a nail in 1 tire and may as well replace all 4 tires even though I did not really need them quite yet, but ok. I also knew I needed brakes, but was conviced I only needed front brakes, ok. I also needed to replace the light in my license plate area as i was getting a signal it was out. So, anyone want to guess what that all cost? $5700 Yep, 4 yokohama tires, front brakes and a light bulb in license plate area. I have a 2022 S90. The most insulting part was that in the past they would bring the car back to me after service, I would inspect to make sure everything was done and matches the invoice. Instead, I received a phone call from Volvo service stating that payment was needed prior to returning the car. The car was also supposed to be detailed ($230) and it was not, even though David reassured me it was done. In fact, he said the car was detailed twice! The only detail work done was vacuum of the flooring in the vehicle. And the cherry on top, once the car was returned my air conditioning did not work. I assure you it worked when I dropped the car off. I brought the car back in and they fixed it. Please understand, I do not write reviews, this is probably the second online review I have ever wirtten and I am 51 years old. This is being written to simply bring awareness to the public that this dealership is not a place you should buy or lease a car or allow them to do any repairs.”

“I recently bought my very first car from Leikin Volvo in Willoughby. Bob Alponat was so helpful and made the experience enjoyable, no pressure and patiently answered all of my questions. Everyone I interacted with was very nice. I chose a 2023 XC40 B5 Volvo that looks brand new inside and out. I specifically chose Volvo for all of the safety features their cars have to offer. I highly recommend Leikin Volvo of Willoughby and Bob Alponat. Carole D Edwards”

“Would give 0 if I could. My experience with Leikin Motors has been deeply disappointing, and I feel obligated to share it so others know what they may be walking into. When issues arose with my Mercedes, I expected the dealership that sold me the vehicle to stand behind me—especially after they told me they would support a buyback. Instead, that promise led nowhere. They never followed through, and at no point did I feel they genuinely advocated for me with MBUSA. It’s one thing for a dealership to be unable to control the decisions of the manufacturer. I understand that. But it’s another thing entirely to assure a customer that a buyback is favorable, only to abandon that commitment and offer no real assistance when it’s needed most. What I experienced was: • Big promises up front • Reassurances that I was being “taken care of” • And then complete silence and inaction when it mattered I was left navigating the issue on my own, despite being told they would help resolve it. For a dealership that should value trust and long-term customer relationships, this was incredibly disheartening. Based on my experience, Leikin Motors was quick to make commitments—but when it came to following through or standing up for the customer, I was left on my own. If you’re looking for a dealership that will genuinely advocate for you when problems arise—not just during the sales process—I would strongly recommend thinking twice.”
