“I recently had what some folks might call a rarity: a pleasant, stress-free car buying experience. Mine was at Lexus of North Hills with Wes Slater as my salesman. I was impressed upon entering the dealership, it was very clean and modern-looking and I was immediately greeted by the receptionist. Wes came out, introduced himself and right away I felt at ease with his friendly demeanor. We spent a few minutes talking about me and my interests and what I was looking for in a car. I expressed an interest in the RX350 Hybrid and Wes walked me through the various standard features as well as some options he thought I might like. Following a test drive I told Wes that I wanted to check out some other dealerships and that I would touch base the next week. At no time was there any direct or indirect pressure to stick with Lexus and I wasn’t bombarded with follow up calls and emails to “check on where I stood”. I returned the following week with the intent to purchase, but was a bit overwhelmed with all of the options. Wes very patiently walked me through the expansive list and shared his personal experience with some of the options as well as feedback he’d received from other customers. This was very helpful in making a final determination on my vehicle. Since an exact match was not locally available, my selection was put on a build schedule and was ready for delivery in two weeks. When I picked up the vehicle Wes spent a couple of hours going over the technical features and functions and setting up my preferences. After leaving the dealership I had a few questions and Wes responded within the hour. All in all, the entire purchasing process was a low-key, no pressure experience that was focused on finding me the exact vehicle that I wanted. Mission Accomplished!”
