“We recently 2/12 purchased a 2023 RAV4 and our customer service representative was Aroldo Barcelos .First impressions are everything, he was not only friendly also very polite and listen to our needs and concerns. “After we had agreed on price and a quote was emailed to me by the sales manager on Tuesday evening, then we scheduled for Saturday to come for the paperwork. Saturday at 9:18am, the sales rep called me to confirm my coming and I said yes, at 2:04pm another rep called to ask what time I would be there, I said between 4 and 4:30pm. At 4:11pm the sales rep text if I'm almost there and I said yes. I got there at 4:27pm, the rep that was assigned to me asked for my license and I told him I need to see the car that I came for first, then he said he want to grab the key from the Manager's cubicle, only to come and tell me that the vehicle that I had drive an hour to them has just been sold 5mins ago. I was furious and felt played upon. The manager then came to me while I was ranting trying to play their usual game saying they could get me another car as if I am a toodler and I doesn't know why I was there. I want to commend the effort of the GSM of Parkway Toyota of Boston,Tomas Sanchez, for ensuring a once disappointed customer ended up being HAPPY within a week. I earlier posted my review out of frustration of not being able to get the vehicle I had went there to purchase, but they made sure they got me a replacement within a week, and even gave me an additional discount on the new vehicle as form of compensation. The whole process went smooth, transparent and easy, and they didn't try to enforce any form of extended package on me, the way some other dealerships would do, to make more money off you. The sales rep, David Demosthene, who was assigned to me was really nice, friendly and helpful. He made sure the new car was registered, the same day that I dropped the check for them. This, I believe is the best way to treat and keep a customer, and I will definitely go back there for any future vehicle purchase. Thank you!”
