“Bought a truck in January and never got any paperwork. I kept requesting to see it, they said it would be mailed. The financed amount was significantly more than purchase price (and I put a down payment of more than half the vehicle) and when I questioned the amount, I was told by finance dept that it was “the interest” and I said that wasn’t how interest works. He said they just have to show it that way on their end. Then he explained the “warranty” and gave me a premium rate. At the very start of purchase there was an added $3500 for limited warranty, which I declined and they quickly took it down to $2000 and FINALLY agreed to $500, but the “man behind the curtain” was upset with me. I finally got paperwork and delved into this AG Assuance “vehicle contract” that was an additional $4,336 over purchase price. I later realized was the “premium warranty” he added. It is 7 months later and I have figured out how to cancel the AG Assurance Vehicle Service Contract and I am in the process of that. Each time I called the AG Assurance operator told me that she could not find my contract. I placed multiple calls to dealership for contract number and have never gotten a response. I later learned that Shottenkirk makes more on the backend of a sale than on the actual sale of these vehicles through third party warranties that the finance department described as “interest”. First experience buying a vehicle and my last. Shottenkirk is EVERYWHERE but disguised as reputable dealerships. It’s my own fault for not digging deeper, I was just excited about vehicle, which I LOVE, by the way. I just think other people should know ahead of time what to expect when buying from any of these Shottenkirk owned dealerships.”

“Jason and the team he surrounds himself with are Amazing. I have sent 5 people to this dealership that have all bought cars. The honesty and transparency from each person has been exceptional. I had my oil change done there today and I will say it was first class service from the time I opened the door. It started with Jeremy the Service Manager greeting me as I walked in and helped me get everything going, then Vinny did my oil change and just because I did he helped me with something else because I tend to beat to my own drum, but while my car was in service I managed to make my way over to Preston. I had dealt with him earlier this week when helping a young lady find her first car, then I had to say hello to Javier who was exceptional with a first time buyer financing, then I was heading back to the service department when I heard a hello and that was from Jason. I went on into his office and visited him and then a friend showed up that had also bought a car from them from my referral and we both chatted with Jason. I always say leadership and accountability starts at the top and the integrity Jason has for the dealership and the Parker County community is top notch. No, I do not drive a Honda but I will take my car there to be serviced and I will always recommend Jason and his team when anyone is looking for a car or service. Thank you Honda of Weatherford. While I did not have an encounter with the other 2 exceptional people today, I also want to give a shoutout to Lamont and Barry. They are top-notch as well and I am honored to know them.ifykyk ♥️”

“Last week Aaron at Weatherford Honda reached out to me and said his dealership was interested in buying my 2019 Ford Explorer Sport with low miles in very nice condition that I had for sale. Long story short - they did purchase my vehicle for a fair price and I was treated very well and with respect and left with a check for the full amount I was asking for the vehicle in a reasonable timeframe.
