“I had an appointment scheduled for a recall service and was advised that the service technician would call me when they were on the way. Unfortunately, I never received that phone call. As a result, I had to contact the dealership and ask to speak with the Service Manager. While I was making that call, I noticed the technician pulling into my job location. Prior to the appointment, I had informed the service department that GPS often directs drivers to the wrong location and advised them to look for the blue truck. Because this information was apparently not relayed, I had to leave my work, take a company vehicle, drive behind the technician, wave him down, and personally direct him to the vehicle needing service. The technician completed the recall work; however, he never explained what was performed, did not review the recall repair with me, and simply came inside and asked me to sign the invoice. I was not provided a copy of the invoice, nor was I given any details regarding the work that had been completed. Additionally, I never received a follow-up call from Jack Demmer regarding the service experience. Overall, the experience was disappointing due to the lack of communication before, during, and after the appointment. Better coordination and customer follow-up would have made for a much more positive service experience.”
