“I had the worst experience with the Waterbury CarMax called and I was approved with financing . I asked for a car in California CarMax . The salesman wanted to sell me a different car . I asked 3 times and he responded back the same way. I hung up on him . I searched the internet for 2 hours and found the same type of car at Sundance Chevrolet in Michigan and I bought the car info wanted . No Bait and switch tactics like CarMax . Best thing ever to buy from a family owned then a corporation who only cares for the bottom line.”

“From start to finish everyone I had contact with was amazing. I had no plans to purchase a vehicle and just came to look. I had never been at a carmax before and was passing one on my route home and decided to stop. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a smile and asked if I had ever been before. The receptionist then explained how the company works and I was on the lot opening doors and checking out every car that was available when in two minutes. I found an “Easter egg” and it was way too good of a deal to pass up. I even went to a Hyundai dealership to see if they could get me a better deal. Nope, carmax was way too great of a deal to pass up. My carmax journey, start to finish, was about 24 hours, and we brought home a 2024 Hyundai Tucson with under 5k miles. Ray, Sam, Matt, and Angel (to name a few) were amazing, even Nick who helped me get qualified for a loan over the phone was great! They never once got annoyed with my never ending questions and even stayed late to finalize the sale. Sam even had them place a bow on the hood so that I could snap a quick picture. I cannot say enough great things about my experience.”
