“Unfortunately, I am having to change my review from a very good experience with the sales department to an awful experience with the service department. My check engine light came on a week after I bought my 26 Silverado brand new. I took it to the dealership and on the first visit they replaced an actuator and the light turned off. The light came back on two days later. I brought it to the dealership and on my way to the dealership the light turned off. They told me there was nothing they could do because the check engine light had turned off and it was probably because the engine was just too new. They said if it came on again the only thing they can do now is drop the engine and break it apart. On my way home the check engine light came on again. The dealership is refusing to get me a rental car and take care of the engine if the light is off even though there is a history of the light turning on multiple times on a two week old truck. I understand GM policy however there has to be an exception that can be made for a brand new truck that has a check engine light on multiple times for the same reason in a few weeks. I'm not asking for anything for free. I am just asking for my brand new truck not to have the check engine light come on repeatedly for the same issue.”
