“I brought my 2017 GMC Canyon to Hagerty Buick GMC multiple times in 2026 for various repairs, including heater hose leaks, an oil leak, and a brake system concern. Over the course of several visits, I spent more than $4,000 on repairs. The most disappointing experience involved a hard brake pedal concern. In July 2026, the dealership diagnosed the issue and replaced the vacuum pump assembly and brake booster vacuum hose at a cost of approximately $1,300. The truck was returned to me on July 24 with 105,225 miles. Less than 100 miles later, at approximately 105,313 miles, the same hard brake pedal condition returned and the truck had to go back to the dealership. The vehicle then remained there for roughly 10 additional days while further diagnosis was performed. During that visit, I was informed that a GM Technical Assistance case had been opened and that internal debris had been found in the vacuum pump passages. I was then quoted an additional approximately $800 to remove the valve cover and inspect for possible engine damage. My concern is not that repairs were needed on a vehicle with over 100,000 miles. Components fail and repairs happen. My concern is that a significant repair was performed, the same symptom returned almost immediately, and the diagnostic direction changed substantially afterward. Communication throughout the process was also inconsistent. I often had to call for updates myself. I was told that technician availability and internal dealership issues contributed to delays. At one point I was asked to return a loaner vehicle because it had been sold, only to receive a call while driving to the dealership informing me the customer purchased a different vehicle and the trip was no longer necessary. The staff I interacted with were generally courteous and professional. However, between the repeat visits, extended downtime, communication challenges, and unresolved questions regarding the diagnosis, the overall experience did not meet my expectations. This review is based solely on my repair records and personal experience.”

“Yes, I'm sending this review because I came in to hagerty Buick in Villa Park on June 22nd at 7:00 a.m. in the morning where that I was supposed to have my car serviced the staff there. The general manager in the service department was very rude. I asked for a Lender car. He told me he did not have a Lender car but then I found out that they had like five or six Lender cars there. I had a Porter to bring me home and when speaking to the Porter I interned let them know how displeased I was with the service. He then went back and told the manager the manager came and called me that morning to really go off on me about the fact that I had said something to the staff. I felt that that was so unprofessional and this is the service that people pay for. I had my car for 2 years. I purchased my car when it was brand new from from that same place didn't have a problem when I was purchasing the car but now that I need it serviced they have a problem with servicing me. I feel that that I've been treated unfairly”
