“I recently purchased a Chevy Trax, and while I’m happy with the final deal, the overall buying experience took much longer than it should have. Before visiting the dealership, I worked with Christian and we reached an agreement in writing. Since we were driving nearly an hour, we scheduled an appointment with the understanding that the agreed upon terms would be honored. When we arrived, we were assigned to a different salesperson, Andy, who informed us that the original offer would not be honored and instead presented numbers that were approximately $3,000–$3,500 higher than what had been agreed to. At that point, I decided to leave. As we were pulling out of the parking lot, Trevor came out to speak with us and worked to keep the conversation going. I appreciate his efforts, and ultimately we were able to reach a deal that was only $500 above my original offer, which I felt was fair.
That said, the process could have been handled much better from the beginning. The initial change in terms created unnecessary back-and-forth that could have been avoided by honoring the written agreement or communicating any issues before we made the drive. The finance portion with Sofia was also ok. One small but disappointing detail was the trade-in. We turned in our vehicle with a full tank of gas, but the Trax we received had only about three-quarters of a tank. While not a major issue, it’s the kind of customer-service detail that leaves a lasting impression.
Overall, I believe the experience had both positives and negatives. I appreciate Trevor’s efforts to make the deal happen and Sofia’s help, but the process could have been smoother and more respectful of our time. Because we ultimately reached a fair agreement, I would describe my overall experience as satisfactory, though there is definitely room for improvement.”

“We needed a car, saw one we liked, went & saw it & was ours that same night! Holden was awesome, got no pressure whatsoever. We couldn't have found a better deal, all team members were great. Update: took away 2 stars bc I never got my front license plate holder I was promised & my emails about it were ignored.”

“Autonation Chevrolet Valencia always pulls through and takes care of me and my truck. Steven Johnson is a great service advisor as well. He knows what he is talking about and never tries to up sale you on unnecessary services.”

“As AutoNation has multiple sites in Valencia, I want to focus not only on the Chevy location that I purchased from but also on the Jeep site next door to them.
Kurt, my sales guy was great. Very quick and honest communication. It was a pleasure working with him and honestly, his up front approach and the overall communication over a two week period was a big deciding factor in my purchase.
The truck: I purchased a 2018 Ford Raptor from the Chevy location. This truck originally came in through the Jeep site (this was a big issue). Jeep reportedly did work on the truck to complete the AutoNation inspection and repairs to bring a car to AutoNation’s standards for sale. They listed that a wheel bearing was replaced (later findings tell me they replaced the wrong one), and new tires were installed.
Kurt encouraged me to have the truck inspected by my own mechanic at which point we discovered the right front wheel bearing was on the verge of failure. To the point he highly recommended not driving it anymore and have the dealer tow the truck back. We also discovered the tires on the truck were 2 inches over spec causing major rubbing and clearance issues.
Enter Mike, the GM of the Chevy location. He worked with me to have the truck towed back but advised that Jeep would be the location that has to do any repairs as they did the original work. He brought it in on a Wednesday and had his crew complete an inspection before turning it over to Jeep the next day. I received a text alert advising my contact at that point would be Jenn O. at Jeep. The text provided a link advising I could follow the progress on the truck.
Mind you my mechanic provided a work order outlining the findings:
Wheel bearing
Front camera detached
Dome lights not functioning
New Tires wrong size: rubbing/clearance issues
Come Monday the link still showed the truck was pending inspection. I texted Jenn, no response. Tuesday, same status, again texted with no response. Same thing Wednesday. Thursday I sent yet another follow up text as it was still showing pending inspection, and I get a very blunt “The truck is done, you can pick it up.” Text from Jenn.
When I get there, the bearing was repaired and the front camera was reattached. The dome lights still did not function. Upon inspection, they left the oversized tires and without asking if I’d be ok with this, they melted and shaved the inside front wheel wells and said “that should stop the rubbing”.
Spoiler, it did not.
I wrote a heated email when I got home, at which point Mike (GM at Chevy) offered to refund my money and take back the truck. I said that was not necessary but I’d like to know what can be done. Mike offered to get me whatever tires I wanted at his cost which I accepted.
Keep in mind every trip to the dealer was 45 minutes to an hour for me.
I took the truck out and they were able to mount the new tires, however the balancing machine was broken so Mike and Dale (Service Manager at Chevy) asked if I could return the following week for the full balance. I did and upon completion Mike had them fill my tank (Raptors have a 36 gallon tank and require higher octane). Since then, the truck has been great and I’m happy with my purchase.
Overall the service from Jeep requires a ZERO star rating but the treatment, understanding, and kindness from Mike, Dale, and Kurt at Chevy deserves a 10 star rating. As I see it, that balances out to the 5 stars I rate them.
In a way I’m grateful for the issues because it let me experience truly exceptional customer service from the crew at AutoNation Chevrolet.”

“There was a particular truck that caught my eye on the Chase Bank listings and I just wanted to see if it was as good as the pictures. This meant I had to travel out to Valencia from Long Beach. So I did. Upon arriving I walked in the front door and met a salesman or manager name Treavor. He was one of the best salespersons I have ever met. He never pressed me or had me feeling obligated to buy anything. He was like a good friend who was knowledgeable about vehicles and his way around a car lot. He made the whole experience of buying a vehicle exciting and fun. The whole team there at Autonation, including the finance manager really were awesome. It was well worth the trip out there and the memory of buying a new truck was awesome and one I'll never forget. My girlfriend was with me and is going to see the folks there at AutoNation when she goes shopping for her new car.....real soon. Thank you and check out my truck.”
